Please consider our home your home away from home while you visit Blacksburg. Our home has cats, dogs, and parrots. It has pet hair. It will be throughly cleaned before your arrival, it will still have pet hair. Our house is a historic contributing bungalow from the 1930's with much of it's original charm. With 3 cozy upstairs bedrooms including a king bedroom, queen bedroom, and twin with twin trundle bedroom. Also upstairs is the only bathroom in the house, (unless you count the sketch 1/2 bath in the basement). Among the charms, are also the realities. This home does not have air conditioning, but has fans and windows on all 4 sides to catch the evening breeze. This welcoming property is perfect for families or friends looking for a lovely place to stay that is close to everything that Blacksburg has to offer: tucked away on a pedestrian-friendly side street, it is only one block from downtown, where you can walk to all the restaurants, coffee shops, bars, shopping, theater, and Virginia Tech campus. Lane stadium is just over 1 mile away, or about 25-30 minutes walking time. There is parking for 2 cars in the driveway, one in front of the other, and you can also park a car on the street with a permit displayed (which is inside the house). We will need to access the house once each full day that you are staying to feed the fish; this will take 5 minutes and can be scheduled at your convenience.
