Newly updated home just steps from the popular Sunflower Bakery, The Original Mexican Cafe, and downtown Galveston. Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, cozy backyard with shady trees and a surfboard shower, and a charming front porch perfect for evening relaxation. Situated on a corner lot for easy, convenient parking. Recent guest review: "The BEST! Don’t miss a chance to stay in the cleanest, best kept rental we’ve stayed in after almost 10 years of using this service!"

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $40 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

This was a beautifully restored residence on a corner lot. The location was walkable to downtown and local restaurants and shops. Our host made sure that we had everything to make our stay enjoyable.

This house is adorable and very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Very thick bath towels and comfortable mattresses on the beds. The decor was well done also. We especially enjoyed having coffee on the front porch the next morning.

You’re just three blocks from Cruise Terminal 16, making it incredibly convenient for pre- and post-cruise stays. Many guests choose this home specifically for the easy access to the port without the stress of long drives or parking logistics.

The home is also walkable to local restaurants, shops, and the historic shopping district, so you can explore Galveston without constantly needing your car.

Out back, you’ll find one of the most fun features of the property, a surfboard-style outdoor shower that’s perfect for rinsing off after the beach. The backyard also offers a comfortable lounging area and grill, making it easy to relax outside, enjoy a meal, or unwind in the evenings.
