Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House was clean and well appointed. Very conveniently located - easy walk to the downtown area. Would definitely stay there again!
The place was wonderful and cozy and Just what my family and I needed for a short weekend . Robin was really helpful before we reached and everything was as she describedThank you so much for having this place and renting it out to those that don’t live in Saranac
The location is great in order to walk downtown and it's close to other attractions in the Adirondacks. The outside does not represent how clean and very well loved and cared for inside. You can tell the owners put effort and care into their property. We'd stay again.
Robins Nest is located handy to just about anything you could have in mind for your visit to the Adirondacks. There’s mountain climbing, excellent fishing, fine, dining, and superb shopping just minutes away. Even If you enjoy spending a rainy day cooking, Robins Nest will have you covered with every doodad you could possibly need.
This property was a good fit for our family. Plenty of space, and a fully furnished kitchen. The in-town location was just what we were looking for. Primary suite is on the ground floor with stairs leading up to the main living area and other bedrooms. Worked for us but stairs could be a problem for some.
Robins house was great. Tons of space. Great amenities. So close to bars and restaurants.
Don’t judge the outside view of a slightly older house. Inside it was perfect and had everything we needed and more.
Will definitely rent this again!
Robin was so easy and quick to respond
Our stay at Robin's Nest was great. The short comings were all on myself as I felt like I had to get somnething quickly as it was in the middle of August vacation time for many traveling to the ADK'S. In addition I was attending my Saranac Lake HS 50th class reunion therefore a lot more people to contend with finding a place. What I meant it was on me, we generally find a place accomodating handicap persons as myself. It is a little difficult when stairs are involved and that is why the bedroom on the 1st floor worked great. I was still able to make it upstairs to be with daughter and grandkids several times. Thank you, and please let your sister we were sorry for not getting a pontoon boat from her. She was willing to get it sent in from off site to Lake Flower but we had other arrangments with a friend;'s pontoon.
We never stayed in a town until this trip. It was nice to walk to multiple spots with our dog. There was several inches of snowfall, and the streets and driveway were plowed. The downstairs "suite" was very nice with a bigger bathroom - just watch the little step into it. The Nest is nicely decorated. But if you have 6 guests, you may have to move articles on tables, dresser, shelves to make room for personal items (or so your pet or children don't knock them over). After skiing all day, we enjoyed cooking a nice meal and watching the smart tvs. The only suggestion we have is to go lighter on the febreze.
