Casa Once Xanadu located in the gated community of Los Delfines in Playa Tambor, CR. 3000 sq. foot modern cement construction 3 BR 2 storey home located on the 6th fairway of the golf course. Private pool located on the property. Playa Tambor located in Bahia Ballena provides 8 km of sandy beach that is safe for swimming and is only 500 meters from the house.

Master BR located on the main floor is appointed with a king bed, end tables, dresser, walk out to pool, master ensuite (double sink, shower, toilet) and walk-in closet. BR's 2 and 3 are located on the second floor. BR 2 is appointed with a queen bed, end tables, dresser, walk-out to balcony, ensuite (sink, shower, toilet) and a walk-in closet. BR 3 is appointed with 2 twin beds (converts out to a king bed), dresser, night table, walk-out to balcony, ensuite (sink,shower,toilet) and a walk-in closet. All BR's have ceiling fans and AC units. Lock safe located on the premises.

Main floor boasts a large central kitchen with the dining and sitting areas adjacent to it. Kitchen is appointed with granite counter tops , stainless steel appliances (microwave, DW, Stove, Refrigerator with ice/water), toaster, coffee maker, blender, rice cooker, electric skillet and all dish ware, cutlery and glasses. Dining table seats 6. Sitting area comes with leather sofa's and entertainment center. Liberty Hogar is provided for television and internet. AC and ceiling fans are located throughout the main floor.

Main floor walk-out leads to a fully screened terrace with an overhead ceiling fan. Outdoor guanacaste table with 4 chairs is provided. A 3 burner stainless steel BBQ is also provided for you.

The backyard is private with mature landscaping, pool and patio. The view overlooks the 6 and 5th fairways of the golf course.

The car port will accommodate 2 vehicles. All bed linens, towels and some bathroom tissue are provided. A washer and dryer are located on the main floor. Laundry also has an iron and a ironing board.

The Cobano airport is located 13 minutes west of the community. Pickup and drop off service an be arranged for an additional fee. Drive services to Airports in San Jose or Liberia can be arranged as well.

Property manager is available 24/7 locally. Habla español and speaks fluent English.

Golf packages are available at additional cost. The immediate area offers a multitude of outdoor adventures and activities such as; surfing, paddle boarding kayaking, snorkelling, diving, boating, deep sea fishing, hiking, horseback riding, ATV tours and ziplining.

A store is located in the community providing basic grocery and beverage items. Larger grocery stores are located in Tambor, Cobano or Paquera. Plenty of good restaurants in the area to choose from. Car rental services are offered locally. Drive services with guide can be arranged for those that prefer not to rent.

Medical clinics are located in Cobano and Paquera. Casa Xanadu is appointed with a first aid kit.

Had a Great Time

This nice, open, spacious house was situated in a lovely area of Costa Rica. Just beyond the backyard is the sixth hole of a beautiful golf course. Everyone enjoyed the amenities and the pool was a big plus. It was used frequently after sweating during daytime outings. The concierge, Julio, was very helpful in recommending snorkeling trips, zip lining and various restaurants. There really is lots to do in this less crowded part of CR. The six of us fully enjoyed our stay.

Xanadu 11 in Los Delphines Golf & Country Club

This property was truly amazing…located on the 6th green of the golf course with a private pool surrounded with lush tropical gardens. We woke every morning to the sounds of tropical birds, howler monkeys and the macaws… for us it was the perfect introduction to Costa Rica! The house was open and spacious allowing everyone to have their space yet perfect for patio dinners and family gatherings… we were so impressed by the friendliness of staff and locals and the property manager was amazing… helping to arrange trips and excursions and answer questions…

First trip to Costa Rica

Great property. Spacious. Lots of granite. Great amenities. Private pool was great and we soaked in it nearly every day after jogs on the beach or a round of golf. We have two kids, so the three bedrooms was perfect so we and the kids could both have privacy and didn't have to bicker about bathroom time or waking anyone else up. This was a great home base for our trips exploring Costa Rica. I would certainly book this place again.

Peace and Quiet

Patrick’s home is beautiful. Much nicer than we even expected. A very quiet, clean gated community. Fifteen minute walk to a breathtaking beach that you will often have all to yourself. Right on the sixth hole of a beautiful 9 hole golf course. Convenience store and restaurant at the golf course. Need a vehicle to get to shopping or other amenities.

Beautiful place

Just an amazing place! The house was stunning. Very clean and had everything you would need to cook with. Kids loved the pool... they lived in it practically all week. Having use of the golf cart was a life saver. Would have been quite a walk after a long day at the beach. Julio the property manager was very kind and helped us plan our excursions. I would suggest buying groceries at a grocery store before you get to Los Delfines as they have a convenience store on site but it's quite expensive for buying everything for the week there. Everyone at the resort is super friendly and we had a great holiday.

Pura Vida! Amos Los Delfines!

Patrick’s home is stunning! It would be a perfect location for 3 couples as each room is large with walk-in closets and ensuites. The pool is divine and very private. We learned a few things as this was our first time to Los Delfines. We connected through Liberia on the local Sansa airline. We were worried about connecting as we were flying out of Toronto Pearson so we spent the night in Liberia. Liberia airport is small and we would have had plenty of time to connect. Our luggage did not come with us as the plane was overloaded weight wise but as promised they arrived the next morning at 9:30 and Julio kindly picked them up for us. (The airport is literally next door) There is also the option of a land shuttle which we may do next time. The market at the club house has most everything you may need but local vendors do little markets throughout the week but specifically on Sunday’s 10-12. Unfortunately we only learned of the Los Delfines facebook page in our third week, it is a font of information. I gave the location a 4 star only because it is at the far end of the complex. The walk to the beach or the club house is only about 12-15 minutes which is great but it is a long, hot walk on the way home. I would definitely recommend renting a golf cart. Overall we were extremely happy; Patrick and Julio (property manager) were great. Thank you Patrick for sharing your incredible home.

Very modern home with all the amenities in a gated community.

The house manager Julio met us at the gate to help us get our pass to come and go as we pleased. He gave us the keys, showed us the home and answered any questions we had for him. The check in process was seamless and fast. Julio was also available throughout our stay if we needed him, but fortunately everything was great and we didn’t. The house was bright and comfortable. The one upstairs bedroom has a bed that can be a king or two twin beds, which gives you a lot of availability for sleeping depending on your situation. We had 2 kids with us that shared that room so it was nice for them to have separate beds. The kitchen has everything you need. There is a store and atm at the main entrance, which was very convenient if you needed something and didn’t want to drive far. The back yard is surrounded by trees which makes it a private oasis. We were out there relaxing in the sun and in the pool every day. One person from our group went golfing and said the golf course was great and reasonably priced. He went a little later in the morning and it was quite hot out by the time he was done. He definitely suggested to go in the morning or evening to avoid the afternoon heat. Everyone we met around the area were very friendly. A lot of the neighbors that we met were from Canada, so we felt right at home. The beach is a close walk away, which we did every night to watch the sunset and the final small planes come in for landing. The path to the beach is easy to access and the beach is hard packed sand which made it easier to walk on for the older people in our group. The water was wavy so we didn’t go out far but it was warm and the waves were fun to play in. We had a great stay and would recommend these accommodations.

Amazing place just a few blocks away from the beach

Patrick's house was perfect for our 6-pax-family vacations. The house features a private pool, a very generous kitchen, big spaces on the dining and living room and each room has its own bath, which is hard to find around. It's secure, cool temperatured and very cozy. I'm definetly comming back soon.

Pura Vida!!

We stayed at Patrick's lovely home in Tambor for 10 nights...what a pleasure! The home is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Having a private pool in the garden was a definite plus - somewhere to relax and unwind without being surrounded by tourists. Tambor offers a unique mix of beach, jungle, wildlife and local culture. We thoroughly enjoyed seeking out the howler monkeys in the trees by the private beach and along the golf course, and the macaws were everywhere - found out that they're actually raising them at Los Delfines!! Additionally, the iguanas were plentiful (there was one living under the edge of the pool decking that came out to visit with us a couple of times each day), and we saw coati, anteaters, beautiful birds and brightly-colored squirrels everywhere! Our local contact, Julio Venegas, was a wonderful source of info on what to see, where to dine and much, much more - such a great resource!! We enjoyed our trip so much that we're already figuring out when we can return!!
