Perched atop a hill within a redwood forest in the historic resort area of Rio Nido is Paradiso Del Cielo (Sky Haven).
Located on the garden level of this 1930 Craftsman Cottage is our newly completed, thoroughly modern, guest suite. The cozy space features 1 queen bed on the sleeping loft and 1 double-size sofa bed, perfect for a small group of guests. With amenities such as a kitchenette, indoor & outdoor showers as well as both indoor & outdoor dining areas, you'll feel you're definitely on vacation.
As close as a few minutes walk to the Russian River, The Rio Nido Roadhouse (live music on weekends, which you can hear from your patio) & the historic 1880 Rio Nido Lodge restaurant.
This is the gateway to the renowned California Wine Country. West Sonoma County is home to numerous boutique wineries. We're just a 5 minute drive to the Korbel Champagne Cellars. 15 minutes from the Russian River Brewery & 35 minutes to the Lagunitas Brewery. Say "Hi" to Snoopy & Charlie Brown at the Charles M. Schultz Museum 25 minutes from us. It's just 9 minutes to the Farmhouse restaurant & spa. World-class Osmosis Day Spa just a quick 34 minutes.

Beautiful little spot. Rob is a gracious host. His attention to detail is quite apparent. Custom woodwork and artistic touches. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in a long time. It’s nice to feel enveloped kind of like sleeping in a little cave up in the loft.

Uncomfortable ladder to get in and out of queen bed in the loft. Several flights of stairs to get into the apartment. Built in the redwood forest and lovely outdoor seating for sitting in the shade of the great redwoods.Unfortunately, there was odor from a decomposing animal during our stay.

Surrounded by a redwood forest, I enjoy the peace and tranquility of this environment. I very much enjoy sitting on one of the several decks sipping my morning tea, watching and listening to the squirrels, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, falcons, blue jays, robins and so much more.

What makes this property unique

The quality of construction using old-growth redwood throughout this craftsman cottage completed in 1930 within the redwood forest is a dream come true for me
