About this property

SOUND FRONT PRIVATE GUEST APARTMENT!

Enjoy sound front views and sunsets over Kitty Hawk Bay! This is a 1 bed 1 bath guest apartment attached to our home with a private entry, private bath, private outside deck and private living space. Newly built in 2017. There is a outside shower available to guests, extra pullout couch, and covered parking underneath our house. Guests have free access to bikes, beach chairs, and kayaks off the dock.

Centrally located on the OBX in Kill Devil Hills. 3 minute drive to free public beach accesses (1 mile), Publix is 1/2 mile away, multiple restaurants within a mile, and this is a wonderful neighborhood for biking. There is a sound front boardwalk to bike down, Wright Brothers Monument is a 5 minute bike away, and many of our favorite restaurants are biking distance from our house.

Avalon Pier, Brewing Station, beach road bars, and Publix all within 2 miles.

Located in great neighborhood tucked away on the sound yet close to KDH main road. Lovely apartment rental w private dock and spectacular sunsets. Perfect Quick Getaway

Great Getaway

My husband and I stayed one night, and it was a comfortable and clean apartment. We enjoyed the dock for a sunset, and exploring the bike trails the next morning. Very quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the sound. Check-in and out was easy, and Eddie replied to all communication quickly. We will keep this property in mind when looking for a quick trip!

Just a few days

The property is in a beautiful spot that feels very secluded. Loved having the bikes and kayaks to use. The location was close to everything we wanted to see but away from the crowds. The bedding could use a refresh. The pillows were very flat and the sheets didnt fit well.

Nice Apartment

Stayed one night for a quick trip to Kill Devil Hills. Apartment was very clean and nice. Great view of the sound from the private porch. Owner offered to put bikes and kayaks out for us to use. Apartment has a private entrance with keypad. Would definitely stay again for single or multi-night getaway.

Loved this cozy apartment!

The apartment was just as the pictures and description revealed. It was super clean and super cute. We loved sitting on the deck to admire the Abemarle Sound. We loved riding the bikes around the area, as well. We would have taken advantage of the canoes, but it was just a little cold for me. We love the Outer Banks and will return!

Coastal Storm Stay

The property was as described on the site. Very nice location on the sound, but when we visited a nor'easter was coming through, so we didn't get the chance to experience much outside. Nice layout and furnishings. Very clean and up to date details. Owner(Eddie) was very easy to get up with, and he responded very quickly to any questions that we had.

Outer Banks Visit

We stayed in Corolla the first part of our stay and visited all of the little towns along the way from there to Kill Devil Hills. After arriving at the Sound we used this point to visit everything South. The unit is perfect for a couple. Note the stairs if you have any health issues but it was no problem for us. Eddie was quick to respond on a couple questions we had.The view of the Sound is wonderful and we spent most evenings enjoying the sunset. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here.
