We rented the lakeside “Heartwood” house this past weekend and it was incredible!! The house was exactly what I expected based on the pictures. Very clean — nice bedrooms, living room & kitchen. Lovely screened-in porch, Great yard, with outdoor games (cornhole, croquet, etc.), a serviceable dock, and plenty of water toys (paddle boards, kayaks, etc.). The host was very communicative and accommodating. We were able to extend our stay by purchasing a “late checkout”, which gave us two additional hours to enjoy the dock and paddle boards. We rented a pontoon boat from a nearly business (Dreher Island Watersports) for a very reasonable price, and the owner delivered the boat to our dock for no additional charge. I would absolutely rent this house again, and I would also recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonable priced rental for 4-6 people. 10/10!!
