Hilltop Pool and VIlla

Our 5 bed, 3 en suite Villa is situated on Mitra Road, with incredible views of the mountains. 20 minute drive to Robinsons mall or Honda Bay and 30 minutes to the center or Nagtabon beach. Its features include a private pool, paddling pool, basketball court, games room, in house cook and fiber optic WIFI

The space:
When renting our property you will have full and private access to the following: 2 Pools and falls, basketball court, game room with darts and table football, board games and cards, fiber optic WIFI, BBQ, Cable TV, parking, fully equipped kitchen with oven, all bedrooms include A/C and king size bed, all bathrooms have water heater and rain shower, also we have a generator for any potential power interruptions. Hilltop Villa also boast beautiful mountain views and many outside seating areas to soak up the sun and enjoy the local wildlife.
Our property is in a quiet, relaxed area of Puerto princesa, 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk away from the famous Baker's Hill where you can try many local foods and delicacies also the wondrous night time firefly show where you are paddled down the Iwahig river learning about the local wildlife and witness thousands of fireflies. For the beach lovers Honda bay and it's scenic island hopping is only 20 minutes drive or for the surfers, Nagtabon beach is 30-45 minutes drive. All tours and transfers can be booked through ourselves or our caretakers.

We are located 25 minutes from the airport, we can arrange transfer to and from the property upon request. All tours and taxis can be arranged with our caretakers or ourselves.

Guest access:
Our guests will have access to the whole property and all for themselves.

Interaction with guests:
We have our 2 lovely caretakers Cristy and Mar who live next door, they are available for cleaning, cooking and any other request you might have including booking tours.

Other things to note:
Hilltop Villa is a fully equipped house in a peaceful area ready for you to enjoy your time on this gorgeous island whether you want to do daily tours or just sit and chill by the pool, you and your friends or family can experience it here.

lovely home!

The caretakers at the home, were absolutely amazing and always willing to help. The home itself is wonderful, clean and beautiful! The Wifi is fast and reliable, which is really important for us as we work remote. Can't wait to go back if we end up in the area again.

Comfortable home with great hosts!

We had an excellent time on this property. Cristy and Mar have been wonderful hosts, amiable, courteous and helpful. Cristy and her helper Pearl are just great cooks. We told Cristy what recipes we'd been craving, and she was quick enough to prepare them. Any reasonable requests, they were happy to serve. We highly recommend this

Feels like home but view is so much better

The property is very well kept and feels so relaxing. Waking up in the morning to an amazing mountain view, ending a long day of adventuring with a nice dip in the pool and winding down to a a home-cooked meal prepared from a well-furnished kitchen with fresh seafood from the market down the road. Christy and the rest of the caretakers are very accommodating and helpful. They were even nice enough to help us set up the grill for our seafood inihaw. They gave us tips on where to go and what to visit as well.

Private slice of paradise!

We stayed here with a 10-person multi-generation family trip, including my parents (age 80s) and children (ages 11+). The property is spectacular and everything you could want in privacy and fun. The home is well cared for and spacious. The pool was always a welcome treat after a day of adventuring in the area. Our large group depended on hired bus/drivers. However, we coordinated almost all of this through the caretaker Kristy and the driver was usually able to stop for food, drinks, and errands to and from our adventuring. Kristy is a huge asset to this property and her assistance really was the cherry on top of an amazing property. The only thing to improve would be the communication with the property owner through VRBO. For some reason they did not receive any of my communications and it was only through some persistence and workarounds that I was able to pass messages. This would be less of an issue for a smaller group that is renting a car (I was not comfortable renting a mini-bus for family transport). We would absolutely stay here again…. And plan to!

Great home with some room for improvement

We had a great time at this property with our family. The highlight was the spacious table for dining on the covered patio behind the house, the luxurious two-level pool with little waterfall, and excellent assistance from the onsite property managers. We’d definitely like to see a few improvements that we think are reasonable for a luxury-priced property. One the security front, we’d like to have dead-bolt or two on the front fence gate which faces the road. We expected a heftier metal deadbolt of some kind instead of the wooden one which wouldn’t resist much pressure at all. Also, the second floor has sliding glass doors with very basic locks, so it would be nice to have a pole or stick that one could just drop onto the slide to completely secure them. Finally, the front door did have a deadbolt, but it took some heavy lifting to get the door to align in order to use it. This was a hassle for us, since we had use it multiple times a day. The kitchen also had a few glitches including the kitchen faucet coming loose more than once during our two-week stay and some unidentified leaks under the kitchen sink. Lastly, the hot water heaters in the showers were not quite hot enough for us. Yes, this is a tropical country, but we are setting our expectations high given the nightly price for this luxury property. So overall, a great stay. We think with a few (mostly low) cost fixes, we think it could be even better.

Thank you for your kind words about the villa and staff. We will look into improving the lock on the gate in the garden. The shower temperature I tested myself upon reading your comment and the water was very hot. we dont consider our villa to be priced as luxary accomodation. We charge on average 20USD per person per night when staying with a group of 10 like yourself. Compared to most accomodation across the philippines and the world this is very affordable. Especially considering the facilities we offer like private pool and staff. we also included a free airport pick up and drop off for you. The leaky tap if you had mentioned this to me I could have had fixed very quickly and the lock on the upstairs sliding doors are new and very secure. they cannot be opend from the outside if locked correctly. The main door does have a technique to open it but most of your issues had you communicated them to me I could have resolved within the hour. I do ask for you and all my guests if there is a problem let me know and I will sort it out for you.
