We had a lovely stay at the double cabins. The property was as described in the listing, and we enjoyed the house and the grounds over our stay. A couple of issues arose during our time here, and the host was very quick to respond and provide solutions. Thanks for a great trip!
I planned this trip a few months back not really realizing exactly what we needed. As we got there we realized it was exactly what we needed for our time in the area. Was in the area for my daughter's wedding. But would definitely like to go back for more leisure time.
I would not recommend this place. Check-in was 4 o’clock. We showed up at 4 o’clock and they were still draining the hot tub and the second cabin had not been cleaned. Ultimately, we were not able to start enjoying our vacation until after 5:39 PM. Because they hadn’t bothered draining the hot tub until just before we arrived we were never able to enjoy it, because after filling it, it never got hot.The shower was hotter than the hot tub. There are also appeared to be black mold, all around the edge of the ripped up hot tub cover. We did not let our dog go into the dog run due to the fact that it was so overgrown. Those are the two reasons we chose this rental. The smaller cabin has an air conditioner in it with no directions on how to use it the first night we froze. Then we finally found the remote for it behind the TV.Neither cabin had any kind of condiments, not even any salt or pepper. I would definitely not recommend staying in this cabin if you were claustrophobic. You could not open the curtains to enjoy the beautiful scenery of where you were. Every curtain remain closed, except the kitchen, which you couldn’t really see out the window.

We're sorry this stay did not meet your expectations. Our goal is always to provide every guest with a clean, comfortable, and relaxing experience.
Unfortunately, a severe thunderstorm shortly before your arrival caused a power interruption that affected the hot tub, and we were still addressing the issue when your group arrived. We sincerely apologized at check-in and worked to have everything ready as quickly as possible.
We would also like to clarify a few points for future guests. The black area referenced on the underside of the hot tub cover is a vinyl repair patch, not mold. We do not advertise condiments as part of the amenities, and the cabins are equipped with window coverings that can be opened to enjoy the surrounding Hill Country views. Had a dog been registered with your group, alerting us to their arrival, rest assured the dog run would have been ready for their visit as well.
While we regret that your experience was not the one we strive to provide, we were surprised that none of these concerns were brought to our attention during your stay. We routinely check in with guests and would have gladly addressed any issues we could. We remain committed to providing a welcoming experience, as reflected by the many guests who have enjoyed their time at our property with 5-star reviews.
