The cabin was perfect for our weekend stay! We spent our time exploring nearby waterfalls and relaxing by the wood burning fireplace. The host was extremely responsive and easy to work with. Our only complaint was that there were a lot of ladybugs in the lower level bedrooms and bathroom, however its early spring and the cabin is in the middle of the woods, so some nature is expected. Would definitely stay again next time we are in the area!

We had a great stay here last week for a few days of skiing. The property was clean, comfortable, and matched the listing well. The location was convenient, a few blocks to Big Powderhorn and everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed touring the waterfalls along the way to Lake Superior as well. Also found great restaurants nearby. Communication with the host was easy and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I celebrated My son’s 24th birthday at this property and it was amazing! The area is close by waterfalls and a city to access stores! The cabin was spacious and clean! It includes a Sauna and a Jet Tub! The game room was also a great addition! Definitely lots of memories made here! I recommend this place if you are traveling in the area!

The space was beautiful and perfect for our weekend, but there were a couple picky things I can share to help others prepare: 1. Mobile service is sparse in the area! It was hard to get in when we arrived, because we didn't receive the door code in the directions, but also because it was hard to even find the directions, since the mobile app didn't work until we drove a few minutes away. The host was very friendly, apologetic, and quick to respond to my call, so we were just fine, and the rest of our stay was wonderful. 2. The property is part of a duplex, and the stairway to the second floor is a narrow metal spiral. It worked great for us, but I was glad my parents (who are in their 70s) weren't able to join us like we had originally planned: The stairs would have made things pretty difficult for them! Overall, the location was wonderful and the space was clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the kitchen and cooked at least one meal a day, and the bathrooms were clean and well-appointed with towels and soaps, too.

Easy check-in process, however, I suggest you screenshot the door code prior to arrival because you might not have cell signal when you arrive at the property. We simply drove 1/4 mile and got signal & screenshot the door codes. Cabin was very clean and had what we needed for the time we were there. The host is super friendly & answers promptly to messages. We had a great stay with our two kids.

Cute & cozy cabin feel! Host/Hostess are organized & made the check in/out process very easy. We visited during mid August and hiked multiple waterfalls in the area but look forward to returning during winter months. Wi-fi within the cabin/chalet was good however, beware that cell data is almost non existent (to be expected….you’re in the Ottawa National Forest) once you’re away from the property. So texting and access to internet is good but actually making a call is a challenge. There are plenty of eating establishments in nearby Bessemer, Wakefield, Hurley and Ironwood. A super Walmart is just up the road for those forgot to bring items, snacks etc. Overall, a great place!

We enjoyed the stay and our time in the Northwoods. We had plenty of room for 4 people in mid summer and the beds were very comfortable and the host was very helpful. We did have trouble keeping it cool in downstairs bedrooms with only the upstairs air conditioner, though it was nice that it was very strong. We were also there during a heat warning! Enjoyed the hot tub and game room for our kids. Overall a very nice stay
