The Barn - Only 5 minutes to I65

The Barn is one of 4 rentals offered by Green Pastures Getaways. This is a barn that has been converted to a wonderful guest house. Beautiful hardwood floors, bamboo countertops, stainless appliances, tiled shower with rainfall shower, stone sinks and much more. The Barn has a full kitchen. Situated on 3.5 acres with lots to do outside. Enjoy a fire in the courtyard fire pit on a cool evening, enjoy a game of cornhole, enjoy the sheep grazing in the back pasture, etc.

You won't be disappointed. This is truly a unique space that you're sure to enjoy. It is a great space where you can unwind and relax. Enjoy a movie or game on the big screen TV, grab a book, play a game, put together a puzzle and much, much more. There is a full kitchen along with the necessary utensils to cook up some great meals. There are also grills outside and some tables so you can enjoy an outdoor meal if you like. If you're here on business, The Barn has it's on WIFI and has a great work surface for getting your work done in an incredible setting.

The Barn is available to our guests along with the 3.5 acres of property. There are a number of places to hang out and relax around the property. We've been here over 30 years and everyone that has been here has had a great time and fallen in love with the surroundings!

Our family lives in the main house on the property and will be able to provide assistance as needed. We are here to make your stay a memorable one. Just let us know what you need.

The neighborhood is made up of a number of unique properties. Each lot is a minimum of 3.5 acres and surrounded by woods.

Plenty of parking within 10 feet of "The Barn". Loading and unloading can't be any easier than it is at The Barn. We are conveniently located about 5 minutes from the Shelby County Airport exit off Interstate 65. We're less than 10 minutes to Calera, Montevallo and Alabaster.

Amazing little getaway

Our family has lived here since 1995 and fell in love with the property as soon as we drove down the driveway. Our 5 children have all grown up here and this place is filled with many incredible memories. My wife is an artist and our house and The Barn are filled with many of her paintings and special touches.

Why they chose this property

The surroundings in The Barn make you want to just sit around and relax but once outside you're sure to enjoy the beauty of the property. Lot's of trees and wildlife to keep you entertained. The Barn is close to I-65 (5 minutes) and is only 6 to 7 minutes from the University of Montevallo campus.

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with the property when I first drove down the driveway over 24 years ago. since that time we've made a lot of changes to make the property suit our lifestyle. We think you'll enjoy the uniqueness of staying in a Barn while still able to enjoy the many upgrades.

The Barn has a companion space, The Apartment and The Art Gallery, so if you have a larger group you could consider booking these other spaces as well.
