Spoke to the host before booking. He said the property was not luxury. Since it was a last minute booking, I said if it was well maintained and clean I would book it. Upon arrival, the yard in the front and back looked like a haunted house - leaves everywhere, plant branches on the front walk and peeling paint on the house and retaining walls.Inside, multiple outlets were missing their covers - a serious safety hazard. The tile floors and counters were cracked, missing grout and missing thresholds. Cabinets and furniture were worn through the finish. The living room carpet and furniture were badly stained. There were only four forks and the knives were extremely dull. The property was so bad that we left early and checked into a hotel.
