Stayed for long weekend in February with another family. Great cabin good amenities very clean and outside hot tub was great. Only issue we ran into was the septic odor coming from a pipe in one of basement bedrooms and when we ran the fan in upstairs bathroom but it did not ruin our stay would stay here again
The home was lovely, and so comfortable! Great spot for a getaway. Loved cooking in the kitchen, and sitting in the hot tub while stargazing. The home matched the Vrbo listing. Definitely would come back and stay again.
Beautiful vacation home in a lovely location. Looking forward to returning!

Beautiful home
We thoroughly enjoyed the Base Camp property. We appreciated the quality furnishings and cleanliness of the property. The neighborhood was great as well.
Great weekend stay. House had comfortable setup for 7 adults. Very clean and lots of great features including nice kitchen, screened in porch, and large deck with propane fire pit and hot tub. Very private, but 10-15 minutes to all shops and restaurants in town. Would definitely stay again and recommend for groups or families.
This was a wonderful place to gather together as a family. Clean and well equipped. Bright and nice open spaces for the whole family.

Base Camp Review
The house was absolutely beautiful and stocked with everything you could need. I would highly recommend. The only issue I had was the pool staff would not let my granddaughter in the big pool with a swim diaper on. She could only go in the kiddie pool which was very very cold and in the shade. Probably should note that in the info about the pool.
We stayed at this property with a group of seven (4 adults and 3 children) over the Fourth of July weekend. The house was in great condition, very clean, and well appointed. We felt very comfortable in the space and there was plenty of room. The house is also in a great location and in close proximity to state parks, rivers, breweries, and the town of Berkeley Springs. The hot tub was not working when we arrived but access to the community pool was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.
The cabin was even better than the pictures! We had a group of 10 ladies staying for 2 nights and didn’t feel cramped at all. We made a big breakfast, set up buffet style on the kitchen island and had room for everyone at the table. The hot tub was a hit but the screened in porch was my favorite. Perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. The view was beautiful and peaceful. The VHS collection in the basement was full of great classics. All of the beds were very comfortable even the pull out sofa! We had a wonderful stay!

Hi Samantha, thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with our company. We hope to host you again soon.
We were extremely comfortable in this beautiful cabin. We hosted a dinner one night for some friends from Ohio and Virginia. We flew in from Texas. Kids had a great time playing pool, adults had a relaxing time on the patio. The kitchen is very well stocked. My kids loved the cat café in town, and the naked olive was fun. We hiked at the Cacapon park. Although the overlook point was closed for cars, we ended up hiking it (6miles!). We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub with our tired muscles afterwards.

Wonderful Weekend @ Base Camp
Me and my family stayed at Base Camp for the weekend so that we could attend a friend's wedding. Base Camp is an absolutely gorgeous home. Whoever designed this home has impeccable taste. We enjoyed hanging out at the hot tub and used it several times during our stay. Also, the sleeping accommodations were wonderful. The beds couldn't have been more comfortable. There isn't a thing that we would change about this home. We hope to be able to visit again in the future with our family. Thanks again!!

The house is beautiful and full of all the misc items you wouldn't normally find at a rental. Having the linens and towels already in the home was such an added bonus, but there were so many other things like picnic/dinner ware, utensils, pots, pans, bowls, cutting boards, knives, etc. The list goes on and on. It is a very clean home and the beds are SO comfortable! We will definitely keep this property in mind when renting in the future.

Great place with wonderful amenities
We had a great stay for our girl's weekend with plenty of space for all 5 of us to spread out and feel comfortable. The hot tub was nice but a little cloudy. We were able to cook in for the majority of our meals. One suggestion is to get a larger coffee pot! We had to run the small one three times to get enough coffee just for 4 of the coffee drinkers.
Beds are comfy. Plenty or indoor and outdoor space to fellowship with others. Highly recommend.
This home is very nice. We did have some issues, the hot tub we had to fill up with water every time we wanted to use it. The fire pit we had to have someone hold the start button so it would stay on, so it wasn't worth dealing with. The upstairs bed was very uncomfortable. It is a very nice home just needs some TLC for certain things it was disappointing for the amount of money spent that major things didn't work properly.

Great Getaway Spot!
We loved your place. Plenty of room for all 5 of us to spread out and enjoy our long weekend. The house is very comfortable with plenty of living space on all three floors. The outdoor space was very nice with the hot tub and we enjoyed as much as we could with the rain. We had fun watching a couple of VHS movies in the basement!
Few suggestions:
-We sent a message to learn how to turn on the ceiling fan in the living room but we never heard back from anyone.
-The power went out for 24 hours and we were never contacted. It would be nice to have some communications while these natural events happen. The fridge leaks terribly from the ice maker when the power is out. We took care of keeping the water off the floor.
-We never figured out the thermostat. It would be nice to have easily accessible directions on how to operate.
We had a great weekend! Your place is lovely.

Beautiful home/lots of perks
Gorgeous home. It is very clean and we loved that it is so well stocked. No worries to bring towels/linens for the shower/hot tub/beds, etc. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. We did have 10 people, as per our reservation and the family room could use a few more chairs,/comfy seats, but otherwise everything is so lovely that didn't matter much and we used dining table chairs so everyone had a spot together in the fireplace area.
The outside areas had very nice furniture and were set up so nicely, but the weather didn't work with us so we didn't get a chance to use the firepit or the open sided deck. We did hang out in the covered deck area (which was perfect and we were surprised that it had both because most properties have one of the other) and were so grateful for the heated element when getting out of the hot tub. That was a nice added touch of comfort. All in all we decided this is one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed in and wanted the owners to be aware that they are doing a great job with this property!
Notes: Things that we noticed that we wanted to inform the owners of were the following things that had nothing to do with our visit:
'
There is a crack in the fridge - upper fridge area/left corner where it looks like someone dropped something.
There is a big melted spot on the outdoor table, which is a shame because that furniture is so nice and looks to be brand new.
The master bathroom shower does not provide hot water, which is weird because the sinks got fairly warm and the downstairs showers had hot water, as well.
We were unable to use the TV in the master bedroom. Apparently, there was a missing "ROKU" remote and without it the TV wasn't functioning. We did search around to try to find that, but were unable to locate it and we tried to use another remote from the TV in the family room area, but that didn't work for the master bedroom TV.
One of the outside folding chairs was broken on one side. It was still usable, but wanted to ensure you were notified of that
The outside garbage container did have loose garbage in it that was not from our visit. We bagged all of our trash as per the instructions and should not be held accountable for the trash that was in the container prior to our arrival.
