Clove Schoolhouse On Mohonk Preserve
Fully renovated schoolhouse first built in the 19th century. On Mohonk Preserve, guests have access to over 80 miles of hiking trails from the garden. Enjoy all that the region has to offer - cultural scene in New Paltz, Minnewaska State Park, Woodstock, cross-country/downhill skiing, snowshoeing, renowned cycling and mountain biking as well as rock climbing. You may catch deer searching for some tasty tulips. Keep an eye out for wild turkey!
Originally one room, the class chalkboard was under where the stairs to the newly installed 2nd floor are. The bookcase in what is now the living room was the first public library in Ulster County, NY.
