About this property

Newly renovated Folk Victorian- walk to downtown

Available for monthly Winter Texan rental beginning in December 2025.

Currently doing a top to bottom renovation/restoration of this 100+ year old, lovely 2-bedroom folk Victorian, with many charms including 12 foot ceilings, beadboard kitchen, & original hardwood floors. Once finished, this gem will blend her vintage charm with modern comfort.

Located a short 5-minute walk to Seguin’s historic downtown district which includes the whimsical Father Christmas Store, Walnut Creek walking trail, coffee shops, bars, & multiple restaurants and shops. Downtown is also home to Burnt Bean- Texas’ #1 BBQ according to Texas Monthly.

Right now she’s a work in progress & we will post additional pictures as we progress.
When finished it will have:
•queen beds & vintage wardrobes in each bedroom
•bathroom located off bedroom has a jetted tub w/ shower & will feature new sink & toilet.
•ALL new hall bath w/shower.
•New: cabinets & appliances in kitchen, heating/ air conditioning, & all ceiling fans in bedrooms & living areas.
•Barbecue pit in the back yard & swing on the front porch
A little further away:
Short drive to New Braunfels, and IH-35.
45 minutes to drive to either-downtown San Antonio (including the Alamo & riverwalk) or take 130 tollway to Circut of The Americas in Austin. 5 minutes to TLU or 35 minutes to Texas State in San Marcos. Come and enjoy your winter in Texas!
