Everything was wonderful. The property and view were better than expected. House was cozy and warm. The exposed beams and fireplace totally added to the upstate feel. It snowed the whole time we were there. We felt like we were in a snow globe with all the big windows. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. I would love to experience it in the summer time as well.

Bearpen lodge was exactly what we needed! The house is immaculate and has everything you need. The views are breathtaking in every direction. It is such a quiet, serene comfortable place to be. Great House On The Prairie

I had a wonderful few days hiking with my dog. Great house and immense amount of property and land to walk the dog in, even if I didn’t want to drive to the trails to hike. Fabulous retreat! And the hostess was great and accommodating.
