University City, a neighbourhood in St. Louis, is home to this holiday home. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Forest Park and Mississippi River, while City Museum and Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre are cultural highlights. Check out an event or a game at Busch Stadium, and consider making time for St. Louis Zoo, a top attraction not to be missed.
The place look just like the pictures. But please be aware of the issues the place has. This is a duplex no one lives in the other apartment but i kept hearing loud noises coming from upstairs. Most blinds in the house do not have strings on them to let them up or down. The main windown blinds had blinds missing and it was raised up so I had to put pillows in front to block anyone from looking in. The place is field with spiders webs and bugs. They would fly around at night. The oven doesn’t work you find that out after you already booked fyi. The shower pressure is so high it cause water to come out the shower. The shower head is broken that’s probably the reason. The tissue had mold on it. (Host claim it was new) The host sent someone to come by to bring me new tissue the first time it was my fault the guy didn’t bring it but everytime after she told me he was coming he never showed up. The host communication was so in/out even after having her phone number. I was going to extend but after telling my company the issues I had they just moved me.

Thank you for your feedback. I take guest concerns seriously and would like to clarify several points for future guests.
The property is professionally cleaned and maintained, with pest control servicing the home on a routine bi-weekly schedule. No pest concerns were reported during the stay. The only issue brought to our attention at the time was regarding a roll of tissue. Although the item was new, we still issued a $30 courtesy refund and arranged for replacement supplies as an added accommodation. Our maintenance team attempted delivery, but we were unable to access the unit at that time.
This is a historic duplex property in St. Louis, and as with many older buildings, occasional structural settling noises may occur.
Regarding the extension request: the guest requested an additional two nights. As required by platform policy, extensions must be confirmed and paid for prior to approval. Payment was not completed by the deadline, yet the guest remained in the property beyond the original reservation period. At that point, VRBO support became involved to resolve the matter. The extension was not granted. Compensation for the additional occupied time was later processed through the platform as a courtesy from VRBO not the guest.
We stand by the accuracy of our listing and the condition of the home. We are always responsive to concerns when they are communicated during a stay and remain committed to providing a clean, professionally managed property for our guests.
