Excellent apartment. Spacious, very well equipped. Comfortable. Fabulous views. Host was really active in providing information ahead of our stay which made it much smoother. Car parking spaces in the garage are quite tight but there were two of them side-by-side and we only had one vehicle (a minivan) so managed just fine. Ski locker in the garage area. Pedestrian access to the main road and under a 2 to 5 minute walk to the Lift area. In good snow conditions you can ski back to across the road with a short section off piste. Three lifts all departing from roughly the same central area with a variety of good skiing in and around the local slopes with easy access to the avoriaz area. The Ski area is vast so care needs to be taken towards the end of the day to make sure you get back into the right valley on time. Local ‘shop’ is extremely limited and only really open in the morning but bread and croissants can be ordered the day before for breakfast collection. You need to pick up stuff for meals etc from a Supermarket in Aigle on the way from the airport or go to Champéry. The creperie is just along the street for a lovely post skiing treat/lunch but not open very late. Overall absolutely loved our stay and would definitely look to stay again if skiing the same area!

Zeer comfortabel, ruim opgezet en luxueus appartement

De kwaliteit van het appartement was boven onze verwachtingen. Het was mooier en ruimer dan we hadden gedacht. Het balkon is reusachtig en ligt mooi op het zuiden en geeft een prachtig uitzicht over de bergen. Via de parkeerkelder van het gebouw liepen we dagelijks met onze ski's binnen 2 minuten naar de babyweide om vervolgens het sleepliftje te pakken dat ons naar het centrale verzamelpunt van Les Crosets bracht.

Fabuleux séjour aux Crosets

Habitués de la station où nous venons chaque année, nous avons été totalement séduit par l'appartement, tant par son emplacement et la vue magnifique sur les Dents du Midi, que par la qualité des prestations. Le logement est spacieux, chaleureux, doté d'installations modernes et de tout le confort nécessaire. Nous reviendrons sûrement au même endroit.

Great apartment in Les Crosets

We had a wonderful stay at the Yamagoya apartment. The property is clean and stylish and is very well equipped. There is a large video library and lots of board games to pass the evenibs. The view of Dents du Midi from the large windows is amazing. It is situated in the same building as the grocery store and is only a 100 meter walk to the slopes. Overall, we would give it 5 stars all around and would love to come again.

Magnifique appartement, très bien situé

L'appartement est très spacieux, joliment aménagé, très propre... un endroit magnifique pour passer des vacances, on s'y sent bien. Il est ski aux pieds à condition qu'il y ait de la neige dans la station; et sinon à 2 min à pied des pistes, et aussi - juste à côté du jardin d'enfants. La superette est 2 maisons plus loin, et il y a aussi des restaurants directement à proximité: en bref, c'est top :-) Marie Josee, la propriétaire, est très sympathique, et très réactive. Merci de nous avoir permis de découvrir ce havre de sérénité :-)

Fantastic last winter, confirmed this summer !

We enjoyed this great appartment now already a couple of stays in wintertime. It really is top ! On the sloops of one of the most magnificent ski ressorts we know, it is always great to come 'home' in Yamagoya. The comfort, the view, the accomodation, kids can safely go in & out, .... This time we decided to come back in summer, and take Yamagoya as home base for some hikes in - what we expected to be - great nature. Confirmed ! We had fantastic walks, nature completely different from what we knew in winter. And then long evenings on the terras watching les Dents du Midi. We surely come back !

Our favorite, comfortable Swiss destination

Breakfast on the spacious terrace while Les Dents du Midi, engulfed in an aura of morning sunlight, smile upon you in the morning, is a wonderful experience in Les Crosets. Staying in this appartment is always a pleasure because you can rest assured that everything will be in tiptop shape. The interior design is a combination of Japanese refinement, Belgian savoir vivre and Swiss efficiency. The basement provides for a parking spot where any car will fit and the access to the appartment is really comfortable. As one would expect the hallway and the elevator are kept meticulously clean in the proverbial Swiss way. The owners provide you with all kinds of information in handy folders ranging from instructions on how to work with the appliances, over interesting restaurants to hikes, all neatly ordered and in multiple languages. A wonderful collection of worldliterature, movies and music are available to enlighten the mind during an evening (potentially at the fire place). We have now stayed 3 times in the appartment and every time it has been a real joy. For us, staying in Les Crosets is a guarantee to a peaceful and reinvigorating holiday.

"Yamagoya" friends midweek

We were only 4 to stay in this wonderful appartment but yes, it can easily host 8 people. We had a great time at Le Creuset! Mostly because we are good friends and we definitly had the best weather possible and also the best snow you can image, but also because the appartment is very welcoming. Whilst my friends went skiing (they said they skied all day without doing any slope twice!...) I had to stay at home as I had fallen ill. I could not dream of a better place to stay :-) a wonderful view from the window and plenty of books and video and good music available. Thanks. We'll be back !

Comfortabel

De sneeuwcondities in januari waren verre van optimaal en daardoor had 'ski in, ski out' letterlijk wat voeten in de aarde. Desondanks een goede week gehad dankzij het spiksplinternieuwe en comfortabele appartement Yamagoya. Ruim, keuken met alles er op en eraan, schoon en fraai uitzicht. Doe wel uitgebreid boodschappen in Monthey voordat je de bergen inrijdt, want het winkeltje vlakbij het appartement heeft alleen de meest noodzakelijke dingen.
