Charming 18C farmhouse halfway between Paris and the Med!

Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 1.5 bedrooms, full bathroom separate house in cottage garden. The main/master bedroom has a queen sized bed, while the adjoining room is furnished with a double bed , comfortable for sleeping 2-4 people. The living room with traditional french oak ceiling is furnished with 2 sofas, open fireplace and pine table, with kitchen corner for cooking. The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped with gas cooktop, mini oven, fridge, food processor and a full complement of dishes and cutlery. Situated amongst rolling hills and pastures, guests can enjoy an afternoon of leisurely hiking, cycling (bikes provided free) or visiting the local romanesque churches and chateaux, and later watch the sunset from the terrace off the bedroom.
Spend the day away, enjoying nearby attractions such as markets, chateaux, churches and cathedrals, or eating at the one-star Michelin restaurant in Charolles, just 5 minutes away by car. Breakfast included, and dinners available on request.

A hidden treasure

The sheer and quiet beauty of the old house, renovated with utter taste - unobtrusively, yet to great comfort. Generous breakfasts! In a completely calm setting with commanding views over the landscape. Beautiful walks into it right from the front door.

Peaceful and relaxing retreat in the heart of the Burgundian countryside.

We loved our stay in this characterful property. It is very comfortable, and tastefully decorated, and above all peaceful. It was a great base from which to explore a very interesting part of Burgundy with its multitude of Romanesque churches. June was a terrific host and we enjoyed our chats over breakfast. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

Le logement est une maison mitoyenne dans une ferme rénovée ancienne. C'est très fonctionnel et spacieux aussi bien pour la pièce à vivre au rez de chaussée que pour la chambre à l'étage. Une grande terrasse à l'étage permet de manger dehors de façon privative de façon très agréable aussi bien le midi que le soir en été. L'endroit est en pleine nature et en été rempli de papillons et de fleurs et plantes diverses. Les petits déjeuners savoureux sont servis par la propriétaire June qui fait tout pour vous faire sentir à l'aise. Le village de Charolles est à 10 minutes en voiture par une belle petite route de campagne. Un très agréable séjour dans un endroit plein de charme. A recommander

Es war ein fantastischer Kurzurlaub im südlichen Burgund - wir haben uns ins Charolais und Brionnais verliebt und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen. June ist eine ganz tolle Gastgeberin und hat ein kleines Paradies geschaffen, in dem man sich wunderbar erholen und zur Ruhe kommen kann. Wer Ruhe und Natur sucht, wird genau das hier finden!

Superbe adresse pour un dépaysement garanti Petit coin de paradis perdu dans la campagne Charolaise Un petit côté Irlandais avec son paysage de pâtures séparées par des murets en pierre et une hôtesse charmante qui sert le petit déjeuner dans son jardin à l'anglaise.
