Myrtle Cottage is a private guesthouse on 40 acres featuring lovely gardens, abound with local trees such as Live Oaks, Magnolia's, Pines and vintage Beech Trees and a fishing pond with Pirch and Bass. Wooded trails lead to the bluffs giving access to a picturesque white sandy beach on the Little Tchefuncte River. A paradise for bird watchers and enthusiasts of local wild life.

Perfect in every way

I can't say enough about the lovely time we spent in this beautiful, immaculate, homey cottage. Bobby our hostess was so kind and made sure that we had all we needed. She is amazing!! I plan on returning!!

Perfect country style getaway!

The home was amazing and spotless! You couldn’t ask for a more wonderful host. She went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect! Will definitely revisit if in the area again!!!

Perfect location and quiet

From the moment I booked the stay, Ms. Bobbie was the most thoughtful and responsive host. I am from the area and have family living there still but wanted a place where all my adult children and grandchildren could come to after celebrating the life of my grandmother. Ms. Bobbie made sure we are taken care of, even when the storm came through and we lost power, she was in constant communication. We will visit again when I travel back to Folsom to visit family. It is nice to have our own space.

Amazing Experience

Bobbie and her piece of heaven were amazing. We stayed for two days after a cruise before heading home and it was perfect spot to unwind. Bobbie was an amazing host and took great care of us during our stay. We plan to come back soon.

Wonderful

We just wanted a quiet relaxing weekend. This was the perfect place. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Ms Bobbie made sure we had everything we needed. We fished in the pond and hiked down to the river. Ms Bobbie made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend.
