The space
Cozy Mountain Cabin is a beautifully crafted A-frame cabin built in 1973 by a Norwegian-American craftsman with detailed woodwork throughout.
Cozy is isolated among pine-trees - away from the noise and bustle of tourist hotels - social distance is achieved.
Mountain elevations (6300 ft) allow for cooler summer months and mild winters providing a refreshing get-away for global visitors.
In 2006 - host Chris B remodeled the cabin with great attention to detail and transformed from a 70s hippie hang-out to a modern and colorful cabin!
An open floor-plan and bright colors compliment a full kitchen and living room.
The restoration included a sizeable front deck to enjoy quiet mornings and afternoons with family and friends.
Guest access
Cozy Mountain Cabin and all spaces within the home are accessible to guests.
Storage areas marked "off limits"' are not accessible to guests.
Other things to note
Cozy Mountain Cabin water supply comes from an in-ground cistern and is pressurized by an onsite pump.
Guests are requested to be environmentally friendly and conserve water, guests are requested to think about and moderate water consumption by limiting showers to 5 minutes and not running water while washing dishes and brushing teeth.
Please contact your host with any questions concerning issues regarding water.

About the host
Hosted by Chris Barreto

Howdy Friends,
As the oldest of 5 kids with a dad from Brazil and a mom from the US, we had many houseguests growing up. We learned the art and importance of welcoming others from other countries into our home. We understand the importance of being welcomed and then allowing the traveler to relax and feel 'at home'.

Why they chose this property
This beautiful cabin was purchased by my parents as my father retired from medical practice. He did not get to enjoy as much as he wished as he had medical problems that led to his leaving this earth a bit early....we miss him dearly.
Being that the property was rehabilitated and ready for use, we decided to share the property with other world travelers...and so we have been on the Airbnb platform since 2016 and now VRBO in 2023.

What makes this property unique
Cozy Mountain Cabin is remote, but still close to Williams and other area attractions.
WE know that guests want to get value for their vacation $$ and so we ask guests to think carefully about where they decide to stay when visiting Grand Canyon/ Williams, AZ: a noisy croweded hotel in downtown or Cozy Mountain Cabin with pine trees and open area??
Don't forget, you're still super close to Williams and can get there in 5 minutes from Cozy....
Think about it...Cozy provides value and the ability to rest and relax - not to have to deal with the noisy couple next door, or those kids jumping upstairs, or the train whistle at 6 am!!
