We have been coming to this condo complex for years - always a terrific experience and when we got the chance to 'buy in' we jumped at it. Stay here with confidence - your housekeeper (Isabel), janitor (Luis) and our local agent (Saskia) have all been here for many years! Ideal location

The location is ideal, easy walking to everything including the beach. The place is a small complex with few units and is very quiet and private. The pool is clean and well suited to the size of the complex. The unit is well equipped, the bed is very comfortable. Lots of room and the private courtyard is especially welcoming. Everything was better than expected.

Perfect location. Close to anything you’d need and would want to do, but just tucked away enough so that it’s quiet and private. The space was beautiful, the grounds are picturesque, the private courtyard is wonderful, staff are incredibly friendly. Highly recommend.

Relaxing stay - home away from home, but with a beach!

We’ve been coming to PV for five years. We did the boutique hotel thing a few times, but condo vacationing is far better and our experience here did not disappoint. The condo is exactly as it’s pictured on line. The communication was clear, although I’m not sure if I missed the initial reference to a $300 damage deposit on arrival - which we were happy to pay - just want to know about it up front. Check in and out were easy. The kitchen is very well appointed for real cooking. Living spaces are comfortable and the patio is fantastic. Location worked so well as we like to spend most of our days at the beach, head out in the evenings from time to time, and enjoy quiet nights in as well.

We arrived was greeted by the condo sitter she showed us around was really surprised that the place had no curtains being on the first floor it was horrible to find most people peeking in my window while passing by ouf I felt invaded ,also the place could use a big big spring cleaning the shower was discussing l showed it to the cleaning lady and mention it to the condo sitter and told her that the place was dirty also most of the furniture is not what it shows on the pictures ...... we were told not to run our a so much and let's not forget the ac was not working for 3 days when we got there it kept us awake a king all kind of noice and freezing up so they had it fix we had strong smell of propane and sewer in the bathroom every morning we did complain about that and we did nt have any hot water in kitchen for 3 weeks they tried to fix the pipes were all filled with rust .... and the noice well it right next to screening kids that you hear all day long ,the yard had a real problem of fallen debrie some kind of fruit the yard is covered every day the janitor had to come in and swap it up .... when the condo sitter came to fix the hot water she was mad she said that she had shut down my ac and not to run it to much .......it was 85 degrees when we got in ...the ac is only in the bedroom .... we did nt have no linen extra so I told the cleaning lady I wanted some so I used it to cover the windows for privacy ...my overall reaction is terrible to the place would never recommend it. Dirty dirty and went I told the house sitter she said that nobody never complained about the cleaning lady well my feet were black from walking on the floor the day she was supposed to have clean I sure did nt leave her a tip we tied the janitor for trying to swap up all the time he looked so overwhelm and he try ed to fix the hot water several time , this was proberbly our worst experience we will not be back.

We stayed there for 2 months and the place provided us with everything needed to make us feel at home and we had some one cleaning the condo one a week. Short walk to the beach and lots of places to eat. I definitely recommend it to everyone. Thank you so much

Another wonderful stay

Once again, Casita Jardin was the perfect home for our time in PV. It’s in a smaller, well-kept condo building. It’s in a great location -a bit tucked away so not too loud- with quick access to the beach and restaurants. The unit is spacious and the private garden patio is lovely. Cheryl and Mike provide proactive and responsive communication and their representatives-on-site are helpful and friendly. We’ll be back!!

Beautiful place & location

Very convenient location to beach, stores & restaurants. Everything you could need was inside. It would be better though if there was A/C in the living area, but at least it is in the bedroom. Very nice accommodations.

My sister and I spent two weeks in Casita Jardin in the Escondito building of Puerto Vallarta and had a wonderful stay. The condo is conveniently located near a funicular. The condo itself is spacious and comfortable. as well as very well-equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. It is also very quiet. Cleaning is also done twice a week. The place is very attractively furnished and there is a lovely courtyard with fountain. The owners, Michael and Cheryl were very helpful and provided us with a preliminary two page information sheet. We really appreciated all the help that Chuy (the pool, outdoor cleaning and general maintenance person) provided. He is a gem.

Our favorite PV Condo

This is our second stay at this condo and we have already booked a 5 week stay for next year. We are seasoned travelers to PV for the past 15 years. This place has it all. Great location, a wonderful hardworking seasoned staff that have all worked here for at least 10 years, an amazing private gated courtyard with fountain that opens up to the common area pool and if you are so inclined to do some cooking, everything you could possibly need to make an incredible meal. The listing is exactly as advertised, the owners are condo board members and very concerned about the quality of your stay. This is a very small condo community and you feel like you are leaving great friends by the time your stay is over. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Best Location and close to all things PV!

We loved staying at Casa Jardin. This is an extremely comfortable condo in the heart of the best area of Puerto Vallarta. The condo has a wonderful large king size bed super comfortable and a large flat screen tv in the bedroom. There is an overhead ceiling fan and an additional fan in the bedroom. There is air conditioning in the bedroom but we don't like to use it so I can definetely say with fans during August we were comfortable. The living room feels large and homey also with ceiling fan and large flat screen tv. You don't feel like you are staying in a stark rental place but more of a home you could live in. The walls have artwork and the shelves have Mexican pottery. The living room, dining room and kitchen are open design and there is a private courtyard with outdoor furniture and a ceiling fan overhead to enjoy being cool while sitting outside. I spent many a day reading on the patio. There is a large shade tree and many plants on the patio. The kitchen is a full kitchen with all you need for cooking. This condo had everything we look for when looking for a place to stay so I would say it ticked all our boxes and more. The communication with the owner was easy and the check in with Emma was easy and convenient. The staff at the condo are great. They have been there a long time and take great pride in their work. Chuey was friendly and helpful. He called for a taxi to take us to the airport and Isabel kept everything clean and even asked if we needed clothes washed. I would definetly want to come back and stay here again. Thank you Michael and Cheryl! You have a wonderful place! Also I should mention all the restaurants are great it didn't matter where we ate. I particularly liked my shrimp burrito at Langostinos on the beach. People are very friendly in Mexico and Puerto Vallarta is a very safe comfortable place. Also nice is the funicular that can take you back up the hill for just a tip to the operator. I miss PV already. I super highly recommend this condo!

A great condo with an awesome location.

We spent a week at Michaels beautiful condo. The amenities inside were very comfortable but the outside was the best. A beautiful private large patio with dozens of plants and trees. A beautiful fountain to top it off. There is a cozy, warm pool just steps away from the patio that I typically had to myself. Location! You are just at the top of a hill from 75+ restaurants and the beach. There is this cute little wooden funicular car that takes you up and down for free. You can tip the operator. You could easily cook in the condo but why? The food is amazing. We ate as many places as we could but could not try all that we wanted to. We never had a bad meal. There is a convenience store just a 2 min walk away. We would definitely stay at this vrbo again!

The Get away

This is the second time I've been to this property. First being back in February 2016 and now. Couldn't stay away! Prior to my first visit I had been hearing of it's charm for over a decade from several friends who have stayed. When I arrived it was exactly how I had imagined it. Relaxing, romantic, and excellent for a couple, or single to have a get away in beautiful Puerto Vallarta. Close to everything Old Town PV has to offer within walking distance. A perfect chill point to decompress, hang by the pool, lounge in the court yard reading a book or visit with friends. Big Thank you to staff and management for being so friendly and accommodating.

Exactly as advertized!

We love PV and have visited here the past 15 years. This condo met and in many way exceeded our expectations. If you are a seasoned traveler to PV like us and look for location and amenities, this is pretty hard to beat. So many condos give you 4 place settings of everything, a few pots and pans if you are lucky and that's what you get for your kitchen. I can't even mention all the particulars, but this kitchen is well equipped and likely meets the expectations you would expect in your own home for all the gadgets and utensils you would expect to prepare any meal. If you still aren't impressed, check out the pantry located in the bathroom for more appliances. In our opinion, the best feature of this condo is the private, gated outdoor living space that features a wonderful fountain. There is a very large rubber tree in this courtyard that provides plenty of shade and privacy. I love listening to the fountain in the shade of this tree while listening to the dripping of the fountain! Open your private gate and you walk into the common area swimming pool that is rarely crowded since this is a very small condominium community. The people who come here tend to be from everywhere and are very friendly! If you are like us and spend serious time in PV and want to balance your time between dining out and living in a home environment and demand a very central location, this place is pretty hard to beat for the bucks! We will definitely consider this place in the future.

Home away from home

My husband and I came to PV for the first time to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The condo was a big part of the wonderful time we had in PV. Everyone associated with the rental were pleasant and professional. The unit and grounds were very clean and well maintained. We even enjoyed the 92 step climb from the beach each day - at least we were working off all that holiday fun! We will definitely book Escondito #1 again if we have the opportunity on our next PV visit!

Excellent condo for two

We stayed here for a week in October and really enjoyed it. The condo is comfortable and has everything you need, even an umbrella and two chairs to use on the beach. The private courtyard is a great place to sit and have your coffee or glass of wine. The bathroom looks hurricane proof and we almost found out if it is!! The pool is just steps away and we didn't even lock the doors when we were at the pool. The staff were very nice. I recommend arranging a taxi from the airport with the owner if you don't know where it is, as its in a tucked away, private location.

Cheryl (wife) and I live in Oregon and have been escaping the cold winter weather in Oregon by coming to Puerto Vallarta for about 20 years. Early along the way we came across the Escondido Condo building and have stayed here ever since. We got the opportunity in 2013 to purchase our favorite unit (#1) and jumped on it. It was a little tired and needed some TLC but within a couple years we had everything in place just as we wanted. We are retired now and spend our winters in PV, it's our happy place!

Why they chose this property

This condo feels like home. The same staff that was here when we first stayed almost 20 years ago is still here, the property is kept immaculate, and is in a safe, 'close to everything' part of town. Mexican Beverly Hills!
