Beautiful home in Lake Cumberland Resort

Nestled in the Daniel Boone National Forest, our 3 bedroom, 3 full bath home is perfect for families or adult getaway! Just a short drive from Somerset KY, Lake Cumberland Resort is a gated community with stunning views you’d expect from the Smokey Mountains just minutes from legendary Lake Cumberland. One mile from the community boat ramp, our home has room to relax, inside and out. 2 living spaces on spererate floors each with their own TV. Lower level family room had sleeper sofa and love seat. Full sized kitchen with eat-in dinning area. Wrap around decks with a rear screened in porch leads you to a fire pit with a stocked wood pile. Full laundry in home for those days you may take advantage of all the outdoor activies the area provides. Weather boating, hiking at one of the close by State and National parks or using one of the 3 community outdoor pools, greens paces or ATV trails just minutes away from the front door, you’ll have a place to clean your active wear for the next day. Our home is pet friendly with a fee but does not have fenced in yard.

Our second time staying at this home and we had a wonderful time! The house is clean, very well maintained, and very accommodating. Beds are very comfortable, great bedding, super clean though out the home. Parking was more than needed for a full house. Host was quick to respond to messages and have so many things stocked if you forget something you can guarantee it’s probably there for guests to use. Used one of 3 resort pools. Very clean facilities and well maintained. Pools were not crowded. Ate supper first night at store/restaurant before you get to the home. Owners were friendly and food was great! Would 10/10 recommend this home and we will continue to book in the future!

We had an amazing time this past weekend renting this home. Home was very clean, well stocked with everything you need, and is in a peaceful location. Second time staying in this resort and this is our favorite house by far! Owner was very responsive to messages and very helpful! Would highly recommend staying here we absolutely loved it!

Beautiful quiet stay at Lake Cumberland

This property is beautiful and exactly as listed! Everything was nice and comfortable inside with any appliance you would need. Plenty of space between the neighbors. It was a nice private getaway. We were kind of rushed last minute as we had a funeral to attend, but we really were able to make the most out of our stay and enjoy the home. We will surely be booking here again whenever we come back to the area!

Amazing home with full luxury. Tucked into a gated community the home had all of the basic necessities and some. The owner was easily accessible when needed. Only about 20 minutes from burnside marina. Definitely plan to stay again with my family.

Usually I plan months in advance, however this turned out to be a last minute decision due to circumstances and this home was an excellent choice. Casey was quick to answer my questions and very helpful. We received all needed information in a timely manner. Checking in was easy. Google directed us straight to the property. Casey delivered the needed codes well before check in. The drive seemed long from Burnside to the cabin on our arrival, but I believe that was only excitement as we traveled back and forth to the lake, Somerset and Burnside many times during our stay and it was only 20 to 30 minutes depending on our destination. Being only the two of us, we spent most ourtime upstairs in a beautiful open concept living, kitchen, dinning area with a master bedroom just off of it. There was a large CLEAN grill just out the kitchen door and no lack of porch sitting anywhere! This was by far the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a rental. Except for the first night, all cooking was completed there and I did not look for one utensil or piece of kitchen helpers and equipment that I did not find. We do not travel with pets and this house is very pet friendly. However there were no smells or spotting and my allergies did not detect dander! Housekeeping seems excellent. The only critters we saw were two lively chipmunks providing entertainment on the back porch. I do not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

Very Accurate Listing, Very Well-Equipped Home

This house was a great find. Three bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. Every pot, pan and utensil that you would need. Wrap around balcony with dog gates and even a dog water bowl. Would have been great to have a map of the immediate area so that we could figure out where the water was. The house was clean on the inside. However, their cleaners apparently did not make it out to the front and back balconies where we found two ashtrays of cigarettes butts and a half empty beer bottle.

Excellent Vacation !

The cabin had absolutely everything you could want! Cooking was a breeze with all the condiments, spatulas, even a waffle maker! We appreciated the extras like outdoor lights at night, hammock, and plenty of firewood ready to go! Owner was wonderful to work with. Would definitely come again!

Our Stay!

We were very impressed with the cabin, the layout, the cleanliness, etc. Each bedroom is a 'Master Bedroom' with a bathroom included. The internet was already setup and as simple as picking up the remote and turning it on. Everything was easy to use and figure out and it was setup very well for my 2 dogs (one is a puppy). The yard, i wish was bigger and i wish it was easier to take the dogs out to use the bathroom but aside from that, it was a perfect stay. Lots of DVD's, nice TV's in each room, clean bathrooms and showers, tons of space, and a pretty open concept upstairs.

Great access to the water

Advices provided by the owner were really helpful. Made things a lot smoother when arriving with a boat and having a boat ramp that close to the house and in a secluded location eliminated the hassle of dealing with a crouwded ramp

Roomy property near the lake

Our two children and their families, my husband and I all enjoyed our stay at your home, which was large enough to accommodate us, plus a couple of dogs. The only problem we experienced was that we did not hear from the owner about the check-in process before we arrived at the property. Once we were finally able to touch base, he apologized, but it was very hot that day and my son and daughter-in-law were the first to arrive with their baby and needed to get her in the house.
