The neighborhood was nice and quiet, very close to several restaurants and local attractions within walking distance. The house was clean and spacious enough for our group. The host was very prompt with responses to any questions we had.

Smelt like the house had been closed up for a while and smelled musty. Which caused my mom to have an asthma attack, so therefore we had to move to a different location. Communication with the host was fine and answered my questions. Location seemed fine. Definitely more dated than the pictures show.

The house was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the ensuite bathrooms for each rooms were great! The kitchen is really dated and could benefit from some updates, but nonetheless it was functional. The heating system did not seem to work in one of the bedrooms, so it was cold in the morning, as we were there in December, but this could be easily fixed.

Stay was great, I would recommend it to anyone. I did have to ask for check-in instructions when we arrived (quite long after check-in time ) which was no problem but I thought I would have them on my phone for convenience by that point.

Meh at best. Proximity to universal studios and the Burbank airport are about the only things this place had going for it. It took 2 messages from me and 1 reaching out through VRBO support to finally get the check in information on the day of check in. It was 100 degrees in Burbank the day we checked in and I expressed concern about overwhelming the A/C if it was turned off when we got there. No response. It was indeed off when we got there. There were 4 window units in the house, two ancient ones that didn’t work and two newer ones. We couldn’t use them all at the same time because that kept popping a breaker. As such, one of the bedrooms was non-usable for the first night because it was so hot. The place is in serious need of an update. The kitchen is very old with melted countertops. I would not have felt safe cooking in there. The bathroom had an outlet that was scorched and not up to code. One of the bathrooms had no light in the closed off shower area. The beds were meh, with just a pair of super flat/old pillows to sleep on. The furniture in the living room is also uncomfortable, and the fold down couch is terrible to sleep on. You can tell the owner did just the bare minimum to get the place up to rent out. There are no outside pictures because it’s this weird nook off the back of an insurance building. It was reasonably clean, but smelled kind of old and musty and is in terrible need of some renovations.

This was the perfect location for our stay. We went to several places around LA and it was a short drive to all them. We had to contact the host once because we locked ourselves out and she called within minutes with a quick resolution. Would definitely recommend this place - the patio area was quiet and we spent each evening sitting and enjoying the beautiful California weather. It was very clean and had everything you needed for a weekend getaway.
