Love the little place, its small and cozy perfect for a couple looking for a cozy, home base when planning to visit all the spots that are close. Loved all the humming bird feeders and humming birds visiting.
This place was such a lovely spot! Perfect amount of room for my husband and I. The location was fabulous!! Close enough to downtown, but far enough out for peace and quiet. Willa was such a sweet and generous host! She made us feel right at home. You will not be disappointed if you stay here! Loved every moment.

And y'all were great "neighbors" too. Come visit again!
I loved staying at Willa’s! I met her twice on the property and we chatted for a few. She’s very sweet. She gave recommendations on what to do and where to eat and also made sure that I had everything I needed. The area was nice and quiet, and the hot tub was amazing! I would definitely come back and visit.
This is my second time here and I absolutely love it. The studio is perfect and has everything I need. And the fact that the hot tub was still open for the season was just a great bonus! Such a quiet and beautiful location, close enough to Flagstaff to make things convenient but seemingly in the middle of nowhere. I’ll be back!
This was a solid place to stay at a great price. You can’t see the mountains from the unit, but it’s still pretty cool being at the foothills. Although the unit is attached to the main house by a breezeway, it still felt private. It’s a little bit dated, but that was no problem for us - we were there for the location and the price. The full kitchen was great, but a full size coffee maker would be a welcome addition. Also, there were only two bath towels for our 4-night stay and no extra TP. But overall, we were very happy with our stay and would certainly stay again.

I have a small pot because of limited counter space, bigger would take too much. And so sorry you didn't find the extra towels in the closet or tp in the cupboard by the toilet. I wondered why there was other tp, thought maybe you had a favorite. Next time, please don't hesitate to reach out, I'm here to help make your stay better. Take care amd please visit again!
Away from the lights and noise, yet conveniently close to amenities
We stayed in the studio apartment for a week in July - it is located in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of town, away from the bright lights and noise from hotels and other businesses. Yet in 5-10 minutes you can drive to the grocery store, Marshall’s etc. Lots of recreation and culture in the area. We crossed paths with the owners a couple of times and had a nice chat but they were never intrusive. When we returned from our initial trip to the grocery store, we were able to cook our meals with no problem as the kitchen was well-stocked with just about everything we needed. The bed and furniture were comfortable, and the bathroom appeared to be recently renovated and had good water pressure in the shower. Overall, a great value and we would definitely return! We wanted a location close to our son’s apt so we could enjoy Christmas together. I had hoped to host dinner because the kitchen is big and very fully equipped. But the tiny table only seats 2 and the other furniture is a futon ( no couch) and a bed. I prepped the dinner in the great kitchen and took it to my son’s apartment—-also a tight space. The suite is serviceable and very clean and well equipped. Works for two people
We couldn't have been happier with every aspect of our stay. A wonderful little apartment, a beautiful neighborhood and great hosts all at an affordable price. What more could you ask for?
This property was amazing and the host was a delight. It had everything I needed. I'd love a full size coffee pot instead of a five cup, but that's probably more about my coffee problem than anything else. :) It was so quiet - away from the bustle of downtown but close enough that I could get there easily. I will definitely be back!
We had such an amazing stay! Willa was very sweet and welcoming. We had everything we needed including a little kitchen making it so we could stay in and cook and relax. We got in the hot tub despite the freezing weather which was amazing. Would definitely come again!
My husband and I stayed here for about a week while visiting some family and friends. We enjoyed our stay very much! The rental was clean, comfortable, and felt very homey. The bed was super comfy, and the rental has a little fan for white noise, so we were able to get a good night sleep every night. Our host was fantastic and very communicative, even when I had to message her later in the evening about something. Thank you for hosting us Willa!
Exactly what it says it is. . . Quiet Mountain get away
Flagstaff is a Dark Sky Zone, and it is aptly named. The nights are beautiful and stars brilliant. The apartment is close enough to get into town, perfect setting to go into the East gate of the Grand Canyon and a whole variety of beautiful areas. Perfect host, well appointed studio.
Lovely spot adjacent to the national forest outside Flagstaff.
The studio was "just right" for the two of us, with plenty of Western ambiance. Hosts were super friendly and good givers of traveling advice. I loved the homegrown tomato they shared with usl.
Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful getaway that involves stargazing and exploring in the forest. The friendly hosts were the icing on the cake. We will definitely return when we have the opportunity.
The hosts were kind and helpful. They answered questions about the area and were quick to respond to issues. The location is out from town a ways - about 25 min to downtown Flagstaff, ideal if you want a quiet place with access to hiking. The entrance to the studio is through a storage area that also opens into the host's home and is lit with a motion sensor light, so our comings and goings felt a bit monitored. The property is not "green" tourism friendly, although it is legal in the state now.
We spent the whole month of August in the apartment and Willa and Dwayne were excellent hosts! They gave great site seeing suggestions and directions. It was just what we needed to get away to a quiet but convenient location. And we really enjoyed the cinnamon rolls Willa made from scratch. They both were very generous and made us feel right at home. Willa and I had great conversations and we won’t forget their generosity. It was a great choice I will recommend to anyone visiting the Flagstaff area.
Willa & Duane are truly wonderful hosts! I had a very nice stay at their studio - it’s spacious and really comfortable - and I thoroughly enjoyed their company ...as well as appreciated all of the local tips they shared. When in the area again I’ll be sure to check if they’ve availability.
This was the perfect property for our mother daughter road trip! Perfect location for day trips to the Grand Canyon, the national monuments, and Sedona. Willa was amazing and gave us great recommendations on where to go and what to do!! Highly recommend this property!!
Studio was the perfect size and location for our short stay in Flagstaff. Willa is awesome and we appreciated her restaurant recommendations. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.
I only stayed for two nights and I wish I could have stayed longer! I was in Flagstaff for work and the studio apartment was perfect for my needs!
Very clean, cozy and furnished with everything you may need!
I also really appreciate the warm welcome and kindness of Willa. A+ Host!
Location was very quiet and I really enjoyed it.
Hope to be back soon and spending few more days this time!
