Remote, so bring your meals to cook in our fully furnished kitchen because you won't want to leave when you get here (also no restaurants nearby). This place has neighbors but is remote, making it peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing. There are two convenience stores nearby with a small grocery store about 20 minutes away and a large grocery (Walmart) about 40 minutes away in Port Arthur if you forget something that is not provided in the home. This is the perfect family getaway! (Not a party house). Only 2 hours drive from Houston and 1 hour from Lake Charles! Make it happen!

Great stay. The listing lets you know everything you need to know. Communication was awesome. We are definitely coming back. There was more than enough room for our large family. There was a lot to do. Beds were cozy. Beach was right there. Crabbing/ fishing/ night time crabbing was the best. Sitting on the beach was even better.

Our family plus our dog loved our time here. We had the beach to ourselves and plenty of space in the house with comfortable sleeping space for our entire family. The location is relatively remote but we enjoyed it for a weekend getaway.

Nothing in front of you except the beach. Very spacious for our entire family. Fully Stocked kitchen (pam, paper towels, dishes. cups pots. pans, utensils) , plenty of towels, and bathroom amenities. Beach access through the yard or around the corner for SXS. Two large trash cans outside so you don't have to pack any trash home. Beach toys and tent was a plus for the kids. All beds were VERY comfortable. We rent multiple homes in this area, but I believe this will be our new go to home.

Truly an escape! Soaked in the fresh air on the porch and beach itself. Comfortable for our group of 6. Kid friendly and welcoming to all others.

House was clean and comfy. The view was prestine. Loved the beach cart and my daughter enjoyed the sand toys and boards. Spoke to the host and he took good care of us! I would definitely recomend this property. We also caught some nice refish on our trip. The stay was very quiet and relaxing. We were able to even assist one of the neighbors!

The location was good and the beds were comfortable. The owner was easy to communicate with, but the home was not clean. There was human hair and dog hair on every surface and drain. There was laundry in the washer and dryer upon arrival, and the fridge and freezer were not wiped clean. The hosts either live there or are there very frequently, expect to have their belongings present, robes, shoes, clothes, dirty clothes hampers, kids toys in the tubs. To be fair, the host did offer to send the cleaners through while we were there, but by that point we had added all of our stuff to the mix and thought it would be awkward. The home itself is in need of general repairs, Sheetrock damage from previous updates, exterior cleaning, 2x12’s hanging loose, cabinet doors that are loose off their hinges, doors and walls that have been drawn on, couches with stains, nothing that prevent the family from sleeping or having a good time, just items that should be anticipated prior to arrival.

The host was readily available for any questions and directions, the property was clean and nice, they even have beach toys and chairs that you can use. The bed was extremely comfortable in the master. The kids had lots of fun.
