About the host

We built this cabin in 2019 as a family retreat, with the dream of creating a place where we could enjoy the beauty of Pine Creek and make lasting memories together. Every detail was chosen with comfort and connection in mind, from the open floor plan to the quiet corners where you can watch the sun rise over the mountains.
Over the years, our cabin has become more than just a getaway. It’s where we’ve slowed down, reconnected with nature, and shared laughter with family and friends. Now, we’re opening it to others so you can experience the same peace, adventure, and wonder that we love so much about Pine Creek.
Whether you spend your days hiking the trails, floating on the water, or simply sitting on the porch listening to the sounds of the valley, we hope our cabin feels like your home away from home.

Why they chose this property

What we love most about our cabin is the peace and quiet. Tucked away in the Pine Creek Valley, it feels private and serene, yet it’s only minutes from Waterville and Slate Run. That means you can enjoy the best of both worlds — complete relaxation surrounded by nature, with great dining and local spots just a short drive away.
Some of our favorites nearby are Waterville Hotel, Hotel Manor, & Mt. Top & Provisions, and the Pine Creek Inn, where you can often catch live music. After a day of exploring, it’s the perfect way to enjoy the local flavor and unwind.
Back at the cabin, the real magic is in the views and wildlife. We’ve spotted black bears wandering across the yard, deer grazing, turkeys in the woods, and even foxes darting along the edges of the trees. Overhead, bald eagles soar, along with a variety of other birds that make this place a haven for nature lovers.
It’s that mix of quiet seclusion, wildlife, and nearby charm that makes this cabin our favorite place to be.
