About this property
Loft In Paradise - A Nature Lovers' Retreat
Come revive in this modern A-Frame home overlooking Pine Creek! Nestled in a beautiful gorge, this open, modern three bedroom home sits up on the mountainside overlooking the tranquil Pine Creek and adjacent 57 miles of the Rail Trail. The A-Frame structure provides a large expanse of windows looking out onto the spectacular creek view and passing wildlife including deer, turkey, black bears, and bald eagles. The main floor supports an open floor plan with adjoining kitchen, dining, and living room. Two large private bedrooms and a bathroom also occupy the main floor. A beautiful wooden staircase in the middle of the main floor leads up to a large, open master bedroom loft. Each bedroom has a queen bed, with additional space in each for air mattresses as needed. The Pine Creek area offers many outdoor activities including fishing, fly-fishing, hunting, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, biking, hiking, and skiing. Williamsport, home of Little League Baseball, and Pennsylvania's Grand Canyon are both within a 35-mile drive. If you are looking for a retreat following a Penn State football game, the university is 65 miles away. There are many nearby taverns for a hassle-free dinner out, and a couple of general stores with fly-fishing supplies and guide services.

About the host
Hosted by Carrie and Dave

We are both Penn State alums and continue to live in State College, Pa with our family. We have been coming to the Pine Creek for many years to camp and play. We fell in love with this house and continue to enjoy many peaceful weekends here. We look forward to having you enjoy the 'Loft' as much as we do!
