Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Remove sheets from the bed and leave them neatly on top of the bed. Place all used towels on the floor of the bathrooms.
Empty any remaining water from the coffee maker. Take out the kitchen trash and place it in the trash bins on the first floor. Wash and return all dishes to their original places.
Ensure back sliding glass doors are locked. Set the thermostat to 76F before leaving the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The house was clean! The kitchen is the most well equipped I’ve ever had the pleasure of using! The grill was well maintained and had an extra tank of gas. The heated pool was lovely! The house is just one mile from Publix making it convenient to walk and grab groceries. The beach is also within walking distance. Our host was very quick to answer any questions and tackled any issue. 5 stars would stay here again!!

Owned by boat owners, for boaters! This place was a perfect fit and housed everything we needed for vacationing down with our boat for our honeymoon. From trailer parking, perfect dock, power, water, and ice. Truly is a great fit for someone trying to come down to visit with their boat. House was super clean with everything that we needed for week in paradise. Super central location close to everything that you need. Irina was extremely helpful with local suggestions and responds quick. We look forward to coming back down in the future years as we love Marathon!

I chose Sombrero Beach in Marathon because it’s truly one of the most special places in the Florida Keys. The neighborhood has such a welcoming, laid-back feel, where neighbors wave hello and the natural beauty surrounds you everywhere you look. Sombrero Beach itself is just steps away—a pristine stretch of sand with turquoise waters, swaying palms, and the perfect spot to watch a Keys sunset.

I love that this area captures the best of both worlds: a peaceful, family-friendly beach neighborhood while still being close to Marathon’s great restaurants, marinas, and activities. Whether it’s snorkeling, boating, fishing, or simply enjoying the ocean breeze, there’s always something to enjoy.

It felt like the perfect place to create a home that I could share with others—where guests can make memories, slow down, and experience the charm of the Keys the way locals do. Hosting here is truly a joy because I get to welcome people into a community and a beach I fell in love with myself.

It’s set right in the heart of the Sombrero Beach neighborhood, so guests are just minutes from one of the most beautiful beaches in the Keys, yet the home itself feels private and relaxing — like your own little sanctuary.

The property is designed for both relaxation and connection. Spacious, open living areas make it easy for families and friends to gather, while cozy nooks and outdoor spaces invite quiet mornings with coffee or peaceful evenings under the stars. The water access is a true highlight — perfect for boating, kayaking, or just watching the sun dance across the canals.

What I love most, and what friends and family tell me they appreciate, is that the home feels warm and welcoming the moment you step inside. It isn’t just a vacation rental — it’s a place to slow down, make memories, and feel at home in the Heart of the Keys.
