About this property

We are on 6 acres. There is a trail that follows the creek and crosses several bridges. It is over half a mile long and has a scavenger hunt. Lots of trees, deer, birds, and squirrels to watch.

Some items available: Free WiFi. Outdoor fire pit gathering area with hammock, swings, horseshoe game, darts, indoor games, TV, DVD player, DVDs, books, charcoal grill, a wood fireplace, double propane hotplate, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, and much more.

Games available: battleship, chess, coup, crazy eights/match game, puzzles, coloring book, balloon animal kit, and much more! :D

Over 70 different movies to choose from.

Popcorn and coffee provided.

The beds are a queen, futon, double roll away bed, and a queen size air mattress.

If you have a larger group check to see if our cottage. Coyote Creek Cottage) is available for rent.

Firewood and fire starter is provided for cabin fireplace. Carcoal is provided for BBQ grill.

The cabin in the woods was great! We enjoyed our stay..Just wish it was more private. The nearby residents kind of took away the privacy for me but overall it was good.

Nice & Quite Piney Woods Log Cabin

We enjoyed a few of the amenities and the peacefulness of being in the woods! Thankfully the others renting this weekend where quiet because the rentals were so close to each other. We were only able to enjoy the trails the first day before it rained and got muddy. It would be nice if the trails had some gravel on them so you could enjoy them in any weather. It was great to be able to have our dogs with us! Since it was nice if because as close together

Wonderful Retreat!

Enjoyed the hiking trail. Couldn't ask for a better place to get away and reset. Enjoyed the fireplace and cozy accommodations.

Cabin Getaway

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect. The kids enjoyed the swings, horseshoes, and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The collection of DVDs was so fun too. Looking forward to visiting again!

Fantastic cabin

Wonderful little cabin in a wooded area. The amenities made it easy to enjoy our stay. Our kids had fun walking the hiking trail and playing the games that were available. They are already begging to come back.

Cute place

Neat little cabin. Very rustic and woodsy. Very hot water! Large bedroom with small bed. Shoty cookware, noisey wall AC/heater. Smokey fireplace yet it's a non smoking unit. Kinda silly.Would love to revisit in summer.

Quiet getaway

Loved the peaceful time. Able to relax,enjoy nature. The fireplace was great for the cold weather and the hike on the trail enjoyable. Host were helpful when we needed wood or the fireplace Thank you for letting us enjoy the cabin.

Coyote Cabin

This was the cutest little cabin. Everything is exactly as described in the posting. We only wish it would have been a little cooler and no burn ban so we could have had a fire outside. We would definitely recommend this place. Everything you need for a stay is there and ready for you and the cabin was nice a clean and orderly. Each room is jut like it is pictured on the posting. We were so impressed.

Retreat in the trees

Easy to find and get to. Cabin was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Very peaceful setting. Enjoyed the porch and the swing out front. Extensive movie selection which was appreciated during the unseasonable warm weather.

THE BEST

My husband and I decided last minute to plan a “day vacay/getaway” that was close and take our pups and THIS WAS THE BEST TRIP ever! It’s so homey, beautiful, super clean and FUN with all of the games! Just a very comforting feeling all around. We will definitely be back to try out one of the other cabins!

Cabin in the woods

Very cute cabin, the blinds in the bedroom to the back porch don't close so had to put a towel over it. The bedspread hadn't been cleaned because my clothes had long black hairs on them, and neither of us have long or black hair. Over all enjoyable trip, no communication with owners had to go to frinds cabin to get numbers to unlock door. No confirmation of receipt or directions to location,luckily we went with friends who did get them.

Most wonderful stay imaginable!

My husband and I went for an overnight stay to spend some quality time together and it was amazing! The cabin had an amazing rustic smell. It was very quiet and peaceful. There was plenty of entertainment inside and outside. The trails were great to walk through. Sitting outside gave us a very enjoyable experience. We will diffinately be back!

Stormy weekend

We didn't get to take full advantage of the surrounding area of our cabin as it stormed all day Saturday. But, we had a great weekend. It was myself and 2 granddaughters, age 19 and 16. I carried food to cook on the grill, but because of the rain, couldn't do that. The cabin was equipped with 2 gas burners that made it easy to cook indoors. I have been to other cabins in the woods and could not use our phones or watch tv. This cabin had a tv with vcr and video cassette player and the wifi worked with our phones. With the dark and stormy day, the movies and games were very enjoyable. We had a nice visit and quiet lazy weekend.

Its a clean quiet log cabin in the woods with a wood fireplace and a half mile long trail. Perfect for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Bedding is always washed before a new guest arrives. Cabin is always clean for guests.

We are 15 minutes from Canton. Which has one if the largest flea markets in the world. Also just 8 miles away from Texas Rose Horse Park. Plenty of fishing lakes Lake Fork, Lake Palestine, Lake Tawakoni, and Tyler State Park Pond. 20 minutes from Tyler State Park. Close cities Lindale, Tyler, Edom, Van, Hideaway, Mineola, Canton, and Gladewater antique capitol of Texas.
