The host lied to me upon check in. He told me that he was someone else and illegally started to reap record our phone conversation. I had told him that the house smelled musty and then it seemed like the air conditioning wasn’t working. He accused me of trying to just get a refund which I was not asking for. I demanded an air-conditioning repairman come in who confirmed that the air-conditioning thermostat was in fact broken and replaced, hence the musty smell. During our two weeks there they had to replace the dishwasher, replace the thermostat, rebuild the toilet and bring a number of towels since they were only four towels for eight guests.The house was not properly cleaned as we found a lot of garbage under the bed and dirt along the floorboards on the walls. The cleaning staff confirmed that no one had been in the unit since 9 December so there wasn’t any maintenance done. The house had shabby rugs, worn carpet and very poorly stocked. I requested a frying pan that was more than 4 1/2 inches and the owner refused to do anything about itI would never stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone else
