The unit was as advertised. In the day when most rental units are trying to be a high-end luxury property this is welcomed for the reasonable price and delivers value. The location is safe and convenient to the surrounding restaurants and activities. The unit is in an mature building, everything worked and was clean. Parking was on street, but readily available during our extended stay.

Very nice!
The apartment was nice along with sufficient amenities. One drawback was the entry way and stairs going up to the apartment. I thought they were pretty gross. That would be the pne thing i would change. All other aspects were great!!

I'm so sorry about the entryway. The building is being rehabbed at the moment. The new brick in front just got finished and we will have a new entryway and front doors come spring time!
With so many big property companies buying up VRBOs I like to find individual-run stays when I can. This apartment did not disappoint. The cost was extremely reasonable for the location in Chicago. It was much more affordable than nearby hotels or other VRBO options. The check in was simple and I was able to check in early. The neighborhood was very warm with a school across the street with many children playing. I was able to walk to restaurants and to the location of my work conference or grab a Lyft with no problem. Nikkole was very friendly and ready to offer whatever I needed but I also had total privacy. The bed was very comfortable and the main bedroom was so quiet at night - I rarely sleep so well when I'm out of town. I would definitely stay here again.

In my initial welcome instructions it CLEARLY states that the building is undergoing some rehab work. The entryway is one of the areas that's going to be rehabbed. The carpet is going to be ripped out and the whole entryway is getting redone. It is also NOT PART of the actual unit. We are also replacing the windows since new brickwork was recently finished. The bedroom only has one window and it has a blackout shade. Usually most guests prefer a dark bedroom but you can't please everyone. :/

Great location! Fantastic Place!
Stayed here for a weekend to attend a convention in town. Place was perfect for us, super close to all needed stores and easy to travel downtown from here! The place itself was super clean and cozy! Would totally stay here again if ever back in Chicago! Also we arrived early and were able to check in early with no problems! Thanks again!

Roomy Charmer in a Quiet Neighborhood
The apartment was much larger than I expected from the pictures. We loved the quiet neighborhood that was close enough to walk to fun taverns and eateries. Rock Star parking right in front of the building and Uber everywhere else we wanted to go. The linens were great and the beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again if it's available on our next trip to Chicago!

Hi! My name is Nikkole. I am a mixologist and real estate investor. I love to travel and when I am at home I like to lounge around with my husband and our 3 rescued dogs....2 pit bulls and a chihuahua. I love to hear about people and their experiences and I believe everyone has the right to do what they want as long as they arent hurting anyone.
Why they chose this property
This is one of the most PRIME locations in Chicago. You are still super close to downtown but you can still park your car...FOR FREE! The blue line is walking distance along with the Grand Ave Bus. But since everything is already so close I find Uber to be the most convenient.
