Just a 7-minute walk (or quick 2-minute drive) from the Goldbug Hot Springs Trailhead, this cozy cabin is the perfect retreat after a day of adventure. Surrounded by peaceful mountain views and the soothing sounds of the nearby river, it offers a comfortable space to relax and unwind. Whether you’re here to explore or simply enjoy nature, this cabin provides a warm home base in the heart of Idaho’s stunning natural beauty.

This cozy cabin comfortably sleeps up to 5 guests. The upstairs bedroom features a queen bed and a twin sleeper chair—ideal for a child or an extra guest. Downstairs, the living room includes a queen-size pull-out sofa for additional sleeping space. The cabin has one full bathroom with a shower and tub, as well as a convenient half bath in the upstairs bedroom. A full kitchen with cooking essentials makes it easy to prepare meals and settle in. All bedding is provided for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Outside, a spacious yard offers the perfect spot to relax, dine, or stargaze under Idaho’s open sky.

Guests have full private access to the cabin throughout their stay. The yard and parking area are shared with a neighboring studio on the property, though both rentals may not be booked at the same time. The cabin itself is completely private—offering a peaceful and secluded retreat.

Goldbug Hot Springs via Warm Springs Trail is a 3.6mi out & back trail. The trail takes an average of 2–2.5 hr to complete. It is a moderate hike with incredible views.

The trailhead is just a 7-minute walk from our location. Parking can get busy at times, so take advantage of the convenience of on-site parking available right here.

This is a rural location and the town of Salmon, approximately 25 minutes away, provides a variety of groceries, dining, and essential services.

Most places are closed on Sundays, so be sure to grab anything you may need prior if you plan to arrive that day.

There is one restaurant about 2 minute drive from the location called the “The Dusty Mule.” They serve locally grown beef and comfort food. They are open from 1-8 pm Wednesday- Saturda
