Small but convenient
The place is very small but it got the job done for three adults. We were able to cook and sleep comfortably, with one person on a cot that we brought along. Cooking basic meals was no problem, although the ventilation is poor so food smells lingered. The place is kinda dated but wasn’t a problem. The location is fantastic, a short (but uphill) walk to snowflake lift and Ski in. The walk into town is super easy as well, great proximity to bars and restraunts. All the above was consistent with our expectations based on the ad. The main disappointment was the grill and hot tub facilities. The grill didn’t work (perhaps the propane was too cold-whatever) but the hot tubs were the biggest issue. One was out of service during our visit and had a messed up cover- although they seemed to be trying to work on it. The ‘working’ hot tub was not kept very warm, and was not very clean. At one point we went out during the day and the ‘working’ unit was completely off and the water was green, although this appeared to be running and clear later that day. Managment should up its game on hot tub cleaning and maintenance.

Great place!
Stayed with two of my cousins for the night. Was an awesome location, unit, and the community accommodations were great. Was pleased to find the hottubs worked great, which is honestly uncommon for a lot of vacation rentals in the mountains!

Underwhelmed by this location Resort
Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Never got a check-in access code until 17:51, and had to call for it a 16:46. The place was small and 'dirty'. My feet were black from being barefoot for a little while. Yuck. Filthy rug and very dusty.Very musty smell. The pictures were deceiving.

Why they chose this property

Boasting 300 days of Sunshine in Winter and Summer, Breckenridge is the perfect retreat all year round! This unique and charming town offers something most Ski Towns don't - A TOWN! Sure, we have a world renowned Ski Resort in our backyard... But we're so much more than that! Breckenridge is rich in history. Having started as a mining town in the late 1800s, Breckenridge has seen a lot more than just the transition from single seated chairlifts to Quad SuperChairs and Gondolas… You know that saying “If these walls could talk?” We’re sure that’s how every meticulously maintained building in our Downtown Historic District must feel. We, as locals, work hard to preserve the history and feel of this Victorian Style themed town and many of the buildings lining Main Street are originals from the old mining days. The Breckenridge locals are proud of their town’s past and eager to tell stories of its colorful history. We also encourage visitors to take part in one of the many historic tours that Breckenridge offers, either by foot or horse drawn carriage or sleigh. So come, experience for yourself the magical town of Breckenridge. Indulge in some of the best restaurants you have and ever will experience, take pleasure in strolling up and down Main Street and window shopping all of the rare and unique shops that it offers, join us for one of our crazy annual festivals – such as the zany Ullr Festival, where we give praise to the Nordic God of Snow in hopes that he will bless us with a snowy ski season. Oh, and while you’re here, get out there and explore our 5 peaks of 2,900+ acres of world renowned ski and rideable terrain!
