Surrounded by green with ocean & mountain views, is a quiet, cozy and private retreat with 2 separated spaces (studio + screen porch) taking in pleasingly mellow sounds of nature! Locally-favorite beaches, hikes, towns and restaurants just minutes away by car.

The Space

Conveniently appointed location—away from the uncomfortably populated areas yet not too distant for reaching the most desirable Island attractions.

Additional Guests Beyond 2 People

Each extra overnight guest will have to pay an extra fee of $30 per night.

Guest Access

Park on the right side of Koakao Way, on the driveway or on the grass.

Interaction with Guests

Our Staff is usually available on short notice to answer questions, provide any special use items, and to perform maintenance or cleaning.

Other Things to Note

Guests may request a variety of off-the-beaten-path adventure excursions when the Staff is available and for a nominal fee.
A fire pit and sitting/hammock area is available for Guest use anytime.

John is an exceptional host and his property offers a beautiful place to relax. This was the second stay for my young daughter and I, and John went above and beyond to ensure it was the magical retreat we were seeking. This is a funky rustic old school like camp but well appointed, very quiet, with a comfortable bed, and superb host. John was super accommodating and such a nice guy. The porch made a great sleeping spot for the extras in our party. Loved the proximity to Paia too.

The host, John, was excellent and brought us wonderful Maui bananas twice. The cottage was clean and comfortable with a small kitchen and a nice large lanai. The neighborhood was wonderful to walk in, and it was great to be away from tourist areas.

The bananas are delicious. The resident cats are very friendly. We are close enough to everything we wanted to do, yet secluded and not in the tourist area. We'll be back!!!

This space was an absolute dream. Even in some of the nicest vacation rentals I've stayed in, I don't necessarily feel compelled to hang out *in* a lodging space (especially on a place like Maui). But hanging out on the screened porch was honestly one of the favorite parts of my whole trip. The host was incredibly kind, available, and accommodating. Honestly can't think of any improvements to the experience, although I'm not sure why Expedia (not the host) highlights that the space has a hot tub. I was able to figure that out reading the listing, but hope that doesn't confuse others.

The host John was very accommodating and accessible. The property was just what we wanted, easy access and quiet because we traveled with two mobility challenged guests. It was lovely! You need to cook before dark, and between daily rain showers.

My wife and just finished our stay at Maui adventure villa and it was great. John was a fantastic host very attentive and quick to answer any questions. the property is located right near the hana highway and the property grounds are beautiful. i definitely recommend staying there. hopefully well be able to make it back to Maui and will be hopefully staying there again... also the bananas were magnificent :)
