Great location

Our family of 4 enjoyed this condo. It was clean and the location is great- right by the pool and a short walk to a really nice beach. Location is central on the island, felt convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. Only complaint was that dryer squeaked, but that was really a minor issue and didn’t detract from the stay at homes all.

Fiddlers Cove vacation

This was our third time here, same unit 8F. The easy access to the pool and beach are great. I will say that the unit was very dusty and the dryer was filled with sand and lint. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. Other than that we had a great time.

After sending your feedback to the owner, we’d like to share the following: - We want all of our guests to rest easy. While this mattress is new within the last couple of years, we recognize that mattress preference is unique to each guest and while we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, mattress taste is subjective. We're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences. - We have talked with our cleaning crew to ensure that the concerns surrounding dust and lint do not recur for future travelers. - The HOA has recently replaced the dryer vent that leads outside. Additionally, we have a sign posted in the unit asking every guest to ensure they are cleaning out the dryer lint each time they use it. As is evidenced by the many great reviews, these owners are accustomed to providing memorable experiences, and we hope to host you again soon!

Great place!

The beach chairs were very rusty. One broke when trying to open. And one broke when trying to close. We will pay to go toward new chairs.

By the end of the season, they can be a bit worn depending on how much people clean them off after use. We did order new chairs that we had hoped would arrive before your stay, but unfortunately, that order was canceled. We will place another order so that we have new chairs ready for guests next season!

It’s fine.

It’s fine but the pictures lack some details. The beds lacked mattress covers and were very uncomfortable. Couch and pillows were visibly dirty. In need of minor repairs throughout. I would not stay here again unless beds were updated.

We would have promptly responded and been more than happy to send the cleaning team back to the home to place mattress covers on the beds. Covers are typically put on the beds in preparation of our guests stay, however, we will follow up with our cleaning team to ensure future guests do not share the same experience. Additionally, while we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences. - We have since further investigated your concerns with the couch and pillows, and can confirm that they were both clean. - We have since followed up in regard to your comment about minor repairs being needed. It was a good stay but could have been excellent with minor changes. The dryer/toaster really needs to be fixed or replaced. The beach chairs/umbrella could be upgraded at a thrift store cheap. We didn't really find some of the things like the big pool and Rec center. It worked for what we needed mostly. The kids spent a ton of time in the pool cause of the jellyfish at this time of year. A few laundry pods would be nice from the $1 store. The price was attractive for the location and pools etc. It was clean and the bed situation was excellent.

Not pleasant at all!

Upon arrival, we saw two roaches in the living room. The couches were dirty and need replacement. When setting up the pull out couch there was trash inside of it so we could tell a deep clean of that couch has not been done in a while which is pretty disgusting. We had to vacuum that couch with a vaccum that smelled pretty bad so we just ended up having to put a bunch of covers over the bed. The sinks still had toothpaste splatters. Cleanliness was definitely not there. Owner needs to address this and handle this in a much better way. No type of compensation was given after all of this so I will just leave this as a suggestion to the owner.

We've followed up with the homeowner, and they would like to share the following: - The guest expressed concerns about the cleaning being late in the evening, and my local contact responded the next morning. Since there was no reply, the cleaning team visited the unit, but the guest was not there. - Another text was sent to the guest, informing them that someone had visited and asking if there was anything else they needed. The guest did not respond and remained unresponsive for the remainder of their stay. - It has been confirmed that there are no roaches in the unit, as the HOA provides regular pest control for the entire property. The guest likely saw a palmetto bug, which was likely allowed in while the door was open. Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!

We have stayed in this condo complex before and hoped it would be similar experience but right from booking it was off to a bad start. Communication with property was non existent, when messaged a 3rd time I was sent an email for ME to reach out and when given contact info they gave me the cleaning lady contact info… no beach equipment available which I had to ask for to the cleaning lady, only provided 1 roll of paper towels and the toilet paper was barely paper.one of the outlets in the master did not work, and the couches need to be replaced! It is just very clear this property is not looked over properly and could have a lot more potential if certain aspects were updated.

Okay for the price... not really!

Things didn't begin well as no parking pass was available at the gate on arrival and apparently unaware of my arrival/ stay dates....the unit was about a 7/10 as the couch is very old and uncomfortable for seating feels like a free fall to the floor which was lumpy! Floors hadn't been cleaned and we encountered someones nail clippings all over the floor in the bedroom. The supplied beach equipment was filthy and the beach cart/ chairs were rusted and inoperable. Definitely won't recommend or rebook Fiddlers Cove!!

Nice stay

Beautiful place to stay! So close to my favorite beach ! Folly field! The property was great the pool was kinda dirty but mostly leaves and flowers from the near by trees. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all it was honestly 7-10 minutes depending if you have Little’s ones following you. The property had a rec room that came with ping pong and corn horn and places to play racket ball and the security guard people are so nice And always helpful especially the night guard lady/girl she worked at night(I saw her til 11ish) when she looked everything up , I couldn’t ask for a safer place to stay they were always at the gate and if not you needed a PIN number to put in the keypad! Very nice grounds! The actual condo it self was nice the couch was nice and I think it folded out to a bed. So it fits a lot of people. The only complaint I have it the bed! The bed in the master bedroom was awful and I’m a trooper when it comes to camping but the bed was hard and thin to the point I had to take Tylenol when I woke up because I was so stiff, but the couch is nice I slept there . The twins were much better, my kids didn’t say much but I tried to sleep with my four year old and we both ended up on the couch) Also the tv system at one point wouldn’t come on for a good two hours in the morning . Apparently the tv keeps shutting off after not being used for a certain amount of time and it was a pain in the butt to get it to come back on! But either than that great spot for little one to enjoy and close to the beach ! Nice surroundings and nice people! We enjoyed it!

We now have a very handsome and sturdy brand new bunk bed in the second bedroom for a total of three beds in that room (just missed you!). We appreciate that mattress and pillow comfort are truly individual preferences. That being said, all five mattresses-including the sofa pullout, are new and I am sorry they didn't suit comfort level. The addition of the new third bed in the guest bedroom together with the queen pull out mattress will now give you three different comfort level options. I hope we can please you on your next stay since we would love to have your family back! Cable companies can be a real pain sometimes and Spectrum is a new addition to Fiddlers this year. Bargain at the Beach

Loved the value! Quiet and convenient location with an easy walk to Folly Beach! Cooking pans all need replacement and unit was less than spotless, but there's nothing to complain about for the rate. Had a wonderful time.

This was one of the best trips we've ever taken. The condo was amazing. Steps to the pool, about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We are already planning our next trip back and to stay in the same condo. Perfect for small family or girls get a way. We loved the location in that we could drive to restaurants but then also feel like we weren't on top of others either. Private beach access was also a great feature.

Definitely Enjoyed Our Stay

This was my family's first time in Hilton Head and I definitely searched various locations, always having a hard time figuring out what places had the most walk-able beach access. This place was on the list, but never quite bubbled to the top until a few others had already been booked. The hold-up for me was beach location and number of beds. We need 4 beds and settled on this only because the listing shows 3 beds and a sleep sofa. Well, the second room actually has a twin and twin bunk beds, which was perfect. As for beach access, the listing doesn't mention that there are two private beach accesses -- still the same distance, but not as crowded. The place fit our family just fine, but would probably have been too small for more adults. We did have an issue with the parking pass when we first got here, but the security guard gave us a temporary one. I contacted the rental contact a couple of times, then the owner contacted me in order to work it out -- there is a new system in place and they needed to enter more information about us in order to get the pass printed out. Everything worked out without a problem, though. The whole complex isn't brand new, so of course the condo is not going to be spotless, but it was great for us. Smaller pool is right behind the building and the bigger pool is a short walk. Lots of tennis courts (we didn't play) and other activities in the clubhouse. I just wish it was not quite as far of a walk to the beach (took about 5 minutes, but when you go back and forth for various things, that can add up). Also, the Hilton Head bike paths are right outside of the complex, but unfortunately it was about 15 minutes along the main thoroughfare to get to civilization (the closest ice cream shop I found). Just joy-riding wasn't a problem, though.

Great getaway

The condo was nice and was in a great location. I thought there would be beach chairs and boogie boards. The chairs there were broken and no boogie boards. We were able to buy some close by. Overall, it was a great place and would love to stay there again.

Fun times at Hilton Head

This was our first time staying at Hilton Head Island. The condo was great for what we needed. It was clean and met our expectations. We had no need to call the property manger, everything was in working order. This unit was right next to one of the pools, which was great! The walk to the beach was easy, they had a cart that we used to carry all our stuff. The only drawback was there was little cabinet space in the kitchen, so there was not really any place to put non perishable food. It was not that big of a deal for us, since we were only there 3 nights. Also, it would have been nice to have a resort info book with general rules and maps, but again, not a big deal to us.
