The view is stunning---the condo looked exactly as pictured.... the only negative, there was a lot of sand on the floor when we arrived and we swept it up.... not a really negative mostly an FYI to the owners for whoever cleans it.Everything we needed was there for us.

I miss this place! Such a magical, relaxing, well-appointed, and peaceful condo right on the ocean. Hearing the waves while inside with the screen door and window open was such a relaxing dream. Owners were excellent to communicate with. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend!!

My husband and I have been in the hotel business for many years on the U.S. mainland and when we visited Kauai for the first time, we were amazed at the beauty of the island and all that it had to offer. It was easy to be relaxed and just enjoy the escape of every day life. We loved it so much, that we decided to plan another vacation for the following year. It was at that time, that we decided we would purchase a condo at Kuhio Shores.

Why they chose this property

Kuhio Shores offers a fully furnished condo with all the comforts of home, while being right on the water. Free parking, free WiFi, washer/dryer, barbecue area, elevators, and your own private lanai to enjoy sunrises or even the moon. Watching the sea turtles is one of my favorite things, in addition to watching the surfers. The location is walking distance to so many conveniences - shopping, restaurants, bars, galleries, grocery stores, etc. All of this without the big hotel resort fees. It is always hard to return home after being in Kauai. If you are planning a honeymoon, wedding, anniversary, birthday, reunion.........this really is the perfect place.

What makes this property unique

If you love the outdoors, there is lots to see and do in Kauai.......hiking, snorkeling, swimming, etc. There are several tours, if interested, for the whole family. The helicopter tour was a lot of fun and you see many parts of the island that are not accessible by foot or a vehicle, as well as learning about the history of Kauai. Scuba diving tours, water tours, etc can all be found on the island.
