We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Caribou Chalet in The Blue Mountains! From the moment we stepped inside this beautifully renovated Swiss-style chalet, we knew we’d made the perfect choice for our family getaway. The space is huge and thoughtfully laid out with 7 bedrooms and room for up to 18 guests— which would perfect for family gatherings or a multi-family trip. The hosts have truly thought of everything: the fully equipped kitchen made group meals easy and fun, high-speed Wi-Fi and multiple entertainment areas kept everyone happy, and the hot tub and sauna were absolute highlights after a day on the trails or slopes and the kids had a blast playing ping-pong.We also loved the location—nestled at the end of a peaceful treed trail with forest views, but still only a short walk or quick drive from lively Blue Mountain Village and all the best activities. The chalet was spotlessly clean, super comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like plenty of linens, towels, cozy living spaces, and lots of room for everyone to relax. We already can’t wait to come back!

We found out one hour before the check-in the hot tub wasn't working. This is pretty unjust. Was furious at the time as a winter vacation without the hot tub, one of the primary reasons to pick this was the hot tub. The host was gracious enough to provide a discount. Otherwise the place is fun. We can be loud and no neighbors.

Unfortunately, our stay at this cottage was disappointing. The sauna and fireplace (there was no fire starter) were not working, which were major features advertised and part of the reason we chose this place. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the cottage was poor and did not meet basic expectations. Neither the kitchen nor the bathroom had proper exhaust fans. These issues significantly affected our comfort and experience. We hope the management addresses the maintenance and cleanliness concerns to improve in future.

Host was great. Brought batteries for the remotes since they were missing and filled up the hot tub and got it back in order at the end of our first night. Nice classic ski lodge interior of the house. Clean etcNegatives- hot tub wasn’t running the first night of our two night stay. And the sauna was non functional the entire weekend which was a let down.Dishwasher left residue and hardly cleaned so expect to wash by hand. And no fault of the owner but it should be mentioned that the living quarters is up a flight of stairs so anyone with mobility concerns should avoid.4 stars because of how accommodating the owner was to try and help how he could.
We had a blast staying here! Cozy indoor area with a lovely fireplace, and close to a lot of fun outdoor activities. Host was very responsive. This listing has so many beds, very comfortable for a large group!
This place was perfect for our group and we had a lot of fun here. The upstairs main area is really nice with plenty of space for us all to hang out. The only reason I give 4 stars is our group was really excited to use the hot tub but when we looked it was not functioning. Alittle warning would have been ideal. Other than that we loved the place.

Hi Tyler,
Thanks for your review and we do apologize again about the issues we had with the hot tub during your stay.
Thanks,
Matt
We had an amazing time at this property! The home was clean, well-equipped, and perfectly located for enjoying all that Blue Mountain has to offer. The hosts were responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Whether it was relaxing by the fireplace or exploring the nearby trails, this trip was everything we hoped for. Highly recommend and would love to return!!
The property was easy to find and met the needs of our group. Overall, clean but there were a few cobwebs around the living area and we found a few things left behind in beds. The hot tub and sauna's fuses in the electrical box were both tripped and needed to be reset before we could use them, thankfully we had group members who knew how to do this. The owner did request a message when we checked in but never responded to that message so not sure if he actually got that message or not.
Friends came down for a long weekend in Blue Mountain and had a great time at this place. Property manager was easy to get a hold of and always super helpful. Property is beautiful, would definitely recommend !

Rob is a great host and accommodated all of our needs, even as they arose throughout our stay. The location is great and the common area was large and perfect for large groups.
