Welcome to The Gingham Goose - a boho lakeside cottage with the charm of a vintage cabin, but the comforts of a modern space.

Set aside in a peaceful nook in a quiet neighborhood, one could spend a lazy day collapsed in our four seasons-cozy home, chasing lake fun, relaxing by the fire or cruising the area on our electric scooters.

This beloved home is almost 100 years old, so she has her quirks, but that's part of her magic. The house is especially unique in that it is season-proof, with the warming accents of a winter cabin getaway as well as the typical summer feels you would naturally get in a lake house. Pet friendly home with substantial discounts for long-term stays.

Roomy enough for six, but perfect for a romantic couples' retreat.

This was a great hideaway right by Indian Lake. My wife and I spent the weekend away from the kids complete with walks around the lake, naps, reading, and watching movies. There is a large collection of nature related books that were a treat to peruse on a rainy day. The neighborhood is quiet and that made for a restful weekend. Highly recommended for those looking for a low key getaway

The stay at lakeview was great. Any questions we had the host responded in a very timely manner. Great location by the water. There is a fantastic donut shop in town that we would recommend for sure. We enjoyed the 4 seasons room as well as the fireplace. A good stay for sure.

Really enjoyed the living room and the views! The fireplace made the space super cozy and the candles were a nice addition. Only issues that I had were the ants in the home. I have the same issue from time to time and I know they are super hard to get rid of. I needed to use the washer but I opened the lid and the washer was full of water and clothes. Outside of those issues I enjoyed the stay!

From the entrance to the exit, this charming Gingham Goose Lakeview Cottage was covered from head to toe in character for the season. From the geese that fly overhead to the comfy beds; the blackberry scented whip cream hand soap and plush bath towels; a cup of Keurig coffee with a cozy throw blanket curled up on a leather recliner with many choices of a good book; a movie streaming afternoon siesta on the comfy boho couch with pillows; a puzzle moment to put together on the ample table space in the elongated sunroom where you could invite family and friends; top it off by the toasty fire and with patio lights and chairs adds to the omniscience of a peaceful evening. Cooking (kitchen staples), cleaning (washer n dryer), or meeting the needs of your every whim are a possibility at Gingham Goose. Thank you Steven for meeting our every need and sharing your love for comfort and travel.

We all had such a great time! Only a few minimal issues: 1) ants, I put down "Terro", that did help. 2) the washer, really needs drained bad, the rugs(?) are getting pretty nasty in there 3) broken chairs were already broken 4) light switch in bathroom, is a little iffy, have to set it in the middle . We sure had fun with the scooter's!!!! And, the neighbors were very nice! All and all, we had fun!!! Thanks!
