This is our beautiful family dream home & we want to share it with you . Relax with family & friends at this spacious escape in nature - walking distance to everything!
Deer are seen nearly daily. We currently have several families including 2 sets of twin babies. You may also spot hawks, an eagle, bunnies, squirrels, and much more wildlife. The home backs up to a nature reserve, but is also close to the urban growth boundary on the other side, so you can walk to many parks, trails, or old town where you’ll find a fantastic local coffee shop, scrumptious dinner options, fun gift shops, wine bars and more!
*Please note from time to time you can hear the Tualatin gun range from our property (as with most all houses in Sherwood) though we rarely notice it. We almost never hear it from inside and it’s never bothered us.*
**The property does have poison oak out in the areas beyond our home. We take fequent walks throughout the entire 20 acres but make sure you have pants and/or at least high socks, and boots if you want to be extra cautious :) ***event permission approval on a case by case basis & with addtl fee***
***** Most closets will be locked off since this is our personal home, but we will have free standing clothes hanging options and organization as well as a luggage rack, etc in each bedroom.
Garage, pantry, and various drawers/cupboards will be locked off but we have dedicated drawers and cupboards for you with all the essentials (as well as empty areas for food and other items) plus much more available for you! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised we will provide many items you may find useful during your stay!

My husband and I have 4 kids and dreamt of building our own home for 25 years. As our family grew the dream became even stronger as we wished for specific spaces to make our life more organized & manageable, it seemed so out of reach. But, we own a financial advising business and our tagline is ‘Dream Bigger’…if we spend our lives helping others dream and reach those dreams, why can’t we reach ours! It took more blood, sweat, tears, hard work & grit than we ever thought possible, but we finally did it. Separately, I am a Communications Director / Graphic Designer and an event planner at heart. Family and friends consistently ask me to host events and put on events, and I never dreamed of expanding from there. However, when we started talking about sharing this home with others while we travel around to other AirBnBs around the world (we love to travel) the thought of hosting others in our home was so exciting. With that, we received many inquiries about having events at our property and I it prompted me to finally expand and start a separate event business in order to offer some spaces, decorations, rental and event options to pair with our home rental. We couldn’t be more excited to share our space with you, however you choose to use it. Please treat it with extra love and care!
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this 20 acre property the second we stepped foot on it. My favorite part is the view of Mt. Hood and watching the sunrise behind it. It brings me so much peace. Our kids love having the space to run and play and explore.
What makes this property unique
One of the unique parts of this property is how close in to the city we are - no long windy roads to get here just straight from a neighborhood to our property but then endless space from there. We are close to everything and can walk to many fun things. Just a short drive to wineries as well!
