The Residences at Grand Luxxe is Vidanta's most palatial accommodation located in both Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera Maya. This approximately 6,000 square foot villa has four bedrooms, four and one half baths and is located exclusively on the buildings’ corners, which allows guests to enjoy 180-degree oceanfront views. The Residence offers sprawling terraces with two plunge pools, a gourmet kitchen, two king-size master suites and two additional bedrooms with two queen-size beds, living room with sleeper sofas, and five 42” LED TVs. An unbelievable private rooftop pool for Residence guests only. Accommodates 12 people.

Our family spent a week in paradise, and ended up purchasing this property to enjoy every year. We travel all over the world with our 3 girls, now ages 11, 9, and 5. We ski, snorkel, dive, and climb, but I don't think they have ever had as much fun as our time in the Grand Luxxe. We live in Boston and enjoy a direct flight to Cancun for a quick start to a luxurious vacation!
Why they chose this property
The Grand Luxxe is so beautiful, it is unimaginable. Our concierge is so attentive, and every detail is attended to for a perfect vacation. We swim a half-mile in connecting pools across the property, and we never have to get out of the water!! Vidanta boasts that they have to largest contiguous pool in North America. The property is on the ocean, so we regularly snorkel, dive, and jet ski right from our beach! We are also minutes from a wealth of family attractions- national parks, ancient Mayan ruins, adventure parks, zip-lining and diving, to name a few!
What makes this property unique
Our family loves animal adventures. Our girls love to swim with the dolphins and sea turtles. Also on site there is a naturalist program to track endangered sea turtles, as they lay their eggs on the same beach they were born. The hotel staff collect and protect the eggs until the babies hatch, then invite the hotel guests to come to the beach at sunset to release the hatchlings. Our daughters were handed tiny turtle hatchlings and allowed to set them free at sunset into the ocean, to try their fate as their parents did, and one day return to the very same beach to lay their own eggs. It is the experience of a lifetime!
