The spacious bathroom comes equipped roomy shower and there is an outdoor shower too. With modern AC and heating, you'll stay comfortable no matter the season. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Carolina Beach and our house has to offer. Less than two blocks from the beach. First stay in a container. Thought layout was well done and well equiped micro kitchen. The bath with ample shower was a pleasant surprise for a small overall space. Perfect for two and three blocks from shoreline. Two dedicated parking pads. Easy driving to and from unit if you use backroad Dow and not the main US 421 Carolina Beach Rd if you wish to avoid the usual traffic. Carolina Beach State Park has nice walking trails and no entrance fees. Fees for camping and boat ramp. The NC aquarium is closed for renovation. The host was immediate with replies and we recommend a stay for you. KB

Entire property was overall very tidy and cozy. Had to provide my own sheets and towels, which was no big deal. Loved the motion light switch in the bathroom. This place is PERFECT for a couple that simply needs a place to sleep and shower. There's a small mini fridge, microwave, and 2 stove eyes for some simple meals if needed. Really cool private outdoor shower!

We were quite disappointed. No table. No chairs. No hooks or other storage. Stained duvet. “Couch” was pitiful. No instructions about TV. Husband fell and bruised his arm when chair on front deck collapsed (rotted wood). Sewer-like odor. Had to buy candles.

Hi Susan, I’m so sorry to hear that your stay was disappointing. The house is minimally decorated but is exactly as shown in the photos of the space. The sofa is small but comfortable and all the instructions are on the Vrbo website but I would have been happy to walk you through the tv operation. It’s never been an issue. I’ll ask the cleaners to look at the duvet but it’s laundered and rotated very often.

It was the perfect location for my husband, myself and the dog. The beach is a close enough walk that you're not exhausted when you get there. The lodging has everything you need, including an outdoor shower and Jennifer is a wonderful host! We can't wait to come back!
