I loved our stary at Simon's flat. Ideal location in Notting Hill very close to transit and shopping but very quiet and peaceful. The flat was just as pictured and well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the shower is really nice! I wouldn't hesitate to book and hope to visit again.
This lovely apartment is a great place to stay for easy convenuance to see and explore London. The location in Notting Hill is beautiful and ideal. Simon the owner, makes the process smooth and easy to stay at his place as well.
We were happy with our accommodations . We were close to Portobello market ,the tube to tour London and find our way to the theatres . It was an easy walk to Kensington shops, pubs, gardens and Palace.

Loved this apartment - had everything we needed, good shower, comfy bed, washing machine and dryer and a very good host / so easy to communicate with him. Location is only a 5-6 minute walk to the tube and plenty of shops, pubs and supermarkets close by. Highly recommend
We stayed for two weeks and were ready to move in! Convenient to public transportation, shops and restaurants and in great residential location. Simon was gracious and easy to communicate with - we hope to return!
My husband and I spent a week in Simon’s flat. This is a perfect location for a London visit! Lot’s of great restaurants within walking distance, as are several grocery stores and pharmacies. The Portabello Market is just up the road. It is also an easy walk to the underground and bus stops. Simon was very responsive, and quickly sorted out the few problems we had.

The position of this spacious and light apartment is perfect - so quiet in a beautiful building / leafy road and yet literally round the corner from the buzz and delights of Notting Hill, and up to Westbourne Grove. Brilliant area to be in, easy tube etc, and so much to see. For us, due to convalescence, it gave us the perfect balance.
A true gem in Notting Hill this flat is incredibly spacious, luxurious and in the perfect location just off Portobello Road. Could not think of a single thing that would have improved our stay - we were here for a month and loved every aspect of the flat, Simon was one message away to help with anything we needed, and really enjoyed just living like a local in this Notting Hill gem.
Simon is an incredible host. He was very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions. The location is perfect, in a quiet area near public transportation bull and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the park. His place is great and has everything you need.

The location of this flat is excellent and made sightseeing in London easy. There were numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores within a 5-10 minute walk. The flat met all of our needs. Having a quiet place to chill and relax after busy days was key for us. The flat was off the busy streets allowing for some quiet space. We barely even noticed any of the neighbours. The kitchen had all the necessities to supplement our meals out. The bathroom had so much light with the glass atrium roof. We also appreciated having a washer and dryer to refresh our clothes before our next leg of travel. Overall a great experience. The host Simon was great and easy to deal with. He made himself available to answer any questions we had. Our only regret was not having met him in person.
The unit is located in an exceptional location that offers easy walking and transport options to locations throughout London. It sits on a beautiful and quite street which makes for a comfortable stay. Simon was a warm and responsive host throughout the entire process. You can’t go wrong with this choice.
A very comfortable, well positioned apartment in Notting Hill. Close to subway, restaurants and Portobello Road markets. Everything you want or need on your door step including Kensington Gardens. The apartment is very spacious and queit. The washing machine and dryer are a plus, but everything you need is supplied and the fresh flowers and complimentary snacks were much appreciated. We totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property. Thank you Simon for the memorable stay.
We stayed at this flat for 8 nights in September and were very happy with our choice. The flat is exactly as described and met all our needs. It was nice to have laundry facilities and a large living room. Eating out is great, but having some meals "at "at home" made our stay in London more relaxing. The neighbourhood is very pretty, there are lots of pubs and restaurants closeby and the Tube is just a short walk. We didn't meet our host, but exchanged messages during our visit. If we get back to London, we'll be looking to stay again.
Comfortable bedding and furniture, close to pubs and grocery stores, close to restaurants and a Tube Station...what more could you want? Having a multitude of channels on the TV for those few rainy days you might encounter is an added bonus.
Simon is a delight to work with and very prompt with communication. We enjoyed our short break of 5 nights!
A thoroughly enjoyable stay in London enhanced by excellent accommodation. The location could not be better having easy access to buses and the tube. Grocery shopping was easy with Tesco, Waitrose and M & S being close. The apartment was comfortable and all on one level. A good shower and cooking was easy. Most importantly it was very quiet. Not once were we disturbed by traffic or neighbour noise.
The flat is exactly as advertised and the location is extremely convenient. A few minutes walk to the tube and bus routes, groceries and restaurants.
It’s hard to believe you’re so close everything London has to offer when all you can hear in bed is birdsong.
Communication with Simon was excellent, and he answered all my questions promptly (Even the dumb ones)
This flat has it all: loads of space, a full kitchen, a shower with water pressure (!), shelves full of enticing books, and a fabulous location. It's walking distance to a well-connected tube station, Portobello Road's market and shops, fantastic restaurants and pubs, Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park, Holland Park, and more. The owner is a very proactive and prompt communicator, providing information about the flat before arrival and checking in periodically throughout the stay to make sure all was well. We didn't want to leave!
We couldn't have chosen a better place to call "home" for the past 12 days.
The apartment has everything one could ask for. Location, comfort, nicely appointed, mod-cons, and a very attentive host.
The neighborhood is quiet but close to the action, the tube, shopping, and some attractions.
During our stay it was unusually warm for London and the apartment stayed nice and cool being on the bottom floor. French doors to the front and back gardens provided a nice cross breeze and gave it a "homey" feel and far less claustrophobic than a hotel.
The large soaking tub provided relief after long days of walking and the walk-in shower had great water pressure and no lack of hot water. The huge towels were a plus.

A resident of Notting Hill for some 30 years, I know the area well and this apartment was at one time my home. I selected it for the location and then completely re-furbished it, fitting out in contemporary style with wooden flooring throughout and fixtures to a high standard.
What makes this property unique
The property has a unique large bathroom with both tub and walk-in shower room. Part of the bathroom has a large glass conservatory-style ceiling which, amazingly for the location, is completely private and not overlooked.
