The house was very clean, nice neighborhood, good parking. The bedrooms were all large with large closets, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a lovely children's park quite near by. Very pleasant drive to Rockville center. Would definitely stay here again.

I saw no evidence of rodents other than sticky and traditional traps everywhere, including the kitchen countertops. That overshadowed the decent, but sparse furniture and decor. The furnishings are functional and comfortable- but it has an institutional feel, not homey at all. I had to call VRBO to get entry instructions because the host info wasn’t available on the app and when I called/emailed I got no response, that may have been a VRBO issue rather than host though. Overall it wasn’t my best rental experience but I was traveling for work and my options were limited. I think if the rodent problem was eliminated and new paint/ decor to freshen the place up it would be 4-5 stars.

Older home. We did encounter a rodent problem which made using the kitchen impossible. Storing food safely was an issue. Minimally stocked kitchen. Half bath downstairs. Two story with three bedrooms. One full bath upstairs. Very comfortable beds. Floors are extremely noisy and creaky which made sleeping without interruption difficult. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Both bathrooms had brand new fixtures and were very pretty and fully functional. Dedicated single car parking in driveway. Quick response from host and was notified regarding the rodent issue. Park with playground was a block away, less than a ten minute walk. Not as close as the photos imply.
Property needs a lot of deep cleaning and fixing up. When we first entered the home it smelled like dog. At first glance the house is okay. Nice set up in the living room, kitchen and dining area. When you get upstairs its okay as well until you start to look at sheets, pillow cases, bedding in general. We found stains on the 2 beds we were sleeping in, there was crumbs and food wrappers and straws behind the side table and copious amounts of dog hair on the floors and pull out couch. Then you start looking at other things. There is so much dust everywhere and dirt on the floors. The kitchen floor was the main dirty floor area. There is chipped paint everywhere and broken blinds in some of the rooms. Looks as if someone tried fixing with paint and it looks like dirt. We left bagels on the counter and found a hole with a bite taken out of one the next morning and at first thought we may have bought them that way but the next night we found another hole. We believe there is a rodent problem especially finding mouse droppings under the sink and in the washer/dryer area. We did contact the host about the cleanliness concerns and she had cleaners come out to reclean and refunded some of the cleaning fee which I feel my entire cleaning fee should have been refunded at the least. If we had time and the money we would have left. Water pressure in the shower could use some work. Towels smelled like mildew. Beds were comfy and the house was in a good quiet neighborhood.
