Villa Sunset is a fully equipped residence with private swimming pool,big gardens with fruit trees , BBQ area and beatiful view of the Cretan sea and mountains.

The villa is located in central Crete and that helps the visitors travel around the island easily.

At the interior there is a living room with a fireplace and a dinning table . There is also a fully equipped kitchen , two bathrooms and three bedrooms.

We are doing our best to make all the guests feel like home and we offer a complimentary traditional cretan dinner with dishes prepared using products from our own garden. Plus all of our guests can daily use fresh vegetables from the garden for free.

Amazing views and amazing host!

The villa is located quite high up and in a very private but intimate town. The host, Michail, was amazing and very generous with the food and drink. If we had any problems he was always around to help us out.

Beautiful view and great host

Michalis is an incredibly kind and welcoming host. When we arrived late on the first day, a home-cooked dinner awaited us in our kitchen! He also brought us cucumbers, tomatoes, eggs and olive oil and was quick to respond to all our queries. The house is beautiful, cleverly designed with an amazing view and terraces for every part of the day.

A wonderful vacation

We had the best time in this amazing villa. The outdoor area were splendid, with beautiful gardens, great pool and stunning view. The sunsets were unbelievable. The host were so welcoming and we felt at home right away. We were treated with a lot at really good vegetables, eggs and more. The pizza oven was a highlight. We tried it twice and made wonderful pizzas! Thank you for a perfect vacation spot!

Perfect house and great host!

The house is really beautiful! The view is breathtaking and the garden is ideal for relaxing. There are many places to sunbathe or find shade. On arrival we were spoiled with local products such as olive oil, eggs and fresh vegetables. Michalis is a great host who is always available for questions and needs. I will definitely recommend the house! I want to thank Michalis again for the great service and for a great holiday :)

Wonderful week in Skouloufia

We had a wonderful week with the best host you could wish for. very good communication!! We were welcomed with vegetables, raki, wine and greek dumplings and there was already water in the fridge. The view is breathtaking and everything is even more beautiful than in the pictures! We will be back definitely. Thank you for everything!

Safe haven

We were perfectly welcomed (Greek hospitality is unrivaled :-)). Michail is always available if needed. Thank you for the tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, eggs...we were spoiled! The house is clean and the bedding is perfect (which is quite rare in Crete). We had all the comfort promised in the description. The view is magnificent and it's very quiet (no barking dog :-)). You are 20 minutes from Margarites (a village which specializes in pottery). I recommend the Taverna Giannousakis in this small village (a delight). You are 9 minutes from the Akadi monastery (to do!) and 30 minutes from the big city of Rethymnon (very pleasant). A car is obviously essential.

Schön wie beim letzten mal :)

Ich war vor zwei Jahren schon mal hier - seit dem haben sich sogar ein paar Stellen verbessert und es ist so schön wie beim letzten Mal :) Michail war wieder sehr herzlich und gut erreichbar, alles war sauber und gepflegt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 15 Minuten Autofahrt zu erreichen, zu den Stränden an der Südküste fahren wir etwas über ein Stunde - dafür haben wir dort aber auch absolut unsere Ruhe gehabt. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Die Sonne auf Kreta

Amazing!

Der Blick von der Villa auf das Meer ist unglaublich schön und einmalig. Michaelis der Besitzer ist ein wirklich toller Gastgeber er kümmert sich um alles und bringt frisches Obst gemüse und Brot. Wir haben die Zeit in der Villa sehr genossen und werden bestimmt mal wieder kommen.

Sehr schönes Haus mit sehr aufmerksamen Vermieter!

Wir hatten als 5-köpfige Familie einen tollen Aufenthalt im Haus Villa Sunset. Der Vermieter Michalis war sehr aufmerksam und um seine Mieter bemüht. Frisches Gemüse, Eier und ein Gastgeber-Geschenk am Ende: Mehr geht nicht. Wir hatten eine tolle Aussicht auf das Meer und konnten uns wie zuhause fühlen. Wir empfehlen gerne dieses Haus weiter.

skulufia oasis of peace&quiet

It was great week in Skulufia. Everything was like we were imagined. Michail is wonderful host, very helpfull and always taking care of us. Localization of villa is excellent, first is very close to most actractions of Crete, second it is very quiet, so you can easy relax after day of sightseeing.

Très belle maison et très belle découverte!

Nous avons passé trois semaines dans cette très belle maison qui correspond en tous points à l’annonce. Beaux volumes intérieurs et espaces extérieurs merveilleux: la piscine et ses installations, les terrasses, les jardins, sans oublier les superbes couchers de soleil! Les paniers de fruits et légumes, ainsi que les œufs, l’huile d’olive et le raki nous ont enchantés également. L’accueil de Michalis est parfait et sa présence très discrète lors des entretiens de la piscine et de la maison.

Beautiful villa overlooking the Sea

We had a wonderful week at Michalis’ familys villa. It was well equipped and we had all of our meals there. The many patios and pool are beautiful and have remarkable sunsets. Michalis is very kind and we enjoyed very much the fresh vegetables, eggs, olive oil and raki from his family farm. Thank you again for an incredible time in Crete and we look forward to returning in the future.

Absolut traumhafftes Ferienhaus

Wir können uns nur herzlich bedanken und die Villa uneingeschränkt jedem Griechenland-Urlauber empfehlen, der Wert legt auf ein kretisches Ambiente, ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, welches keine Wünsche übrig lässt, mit einer fantastischen Lage (die Anfahrt lohnt sich!) in toller Natur und entspannender Stille. Das Haus ist wunderschön und geräumig. Das Außengelände ist gepflegt und lädt zum Verweilen ein - egal, ob es ein entspannter Tag am Pool sein soll oder ein gemütliches Barbecue. Man hat hier einen herrlichen Blick über die Insel bis zum Meer und erlebt die spektakulärsten Sonnenuntergänge - ein absolutes Highlight! Michalis und seine Mutter sind unglaublich gastfreundlich und sympathisch. Bei unserer Ankunft gab es Raki, einen Obst- und Gemüsekorb, frische Eier, Wasser und Olivenöl sowie selbstgemachtes Gebäck. Ein Traum! Vielen Dank für alles. Es war für uns ein traumhafter Urlaub in dieser Villa.

La maison est vraiment très jolie et bien placée sur les hauteurs (mais on est très vite sur la côte !). La vue y est magnifique ! Elle possède tout le confort et toutes les commodités pour y être comme chez soi avec les enfants. Nous y avons passé un merveilleux moment ! Et par dessus tout, nous nous souviendrons de l'accueil très chaleureux de Michalis, de sa gentillesse et de ses attentions à commencer par le panier de légumes, les olives, l'huile ou les œufs frais ! Sans oublier les préparations (de sa maman ?) ! Bref, un endroit où nous retournerons avec joie !

Fantastisch verblijf in Villa Sunset. Absolute aanrader!

Bij aankomst werden we meteen enthousiast onthaald door de supergastvrije Michalis en Zambia die ons bij aankomst ook overstelpten met lokale produkten. De vakantiewoning is zeer interessant qua indeling zodat je steeds een schaduw- of zonplek kan opzoeken. Ondanks de naburige werkzaamheden kon je in alle rust van je verblijf genieten (ligging hoog in de bergen; ver van alle drukte waardoor je best wel over een auto beschikt). Tal van bezienswaardigheden zijn na een korte autorit bereikbaar. Met vragen of problemen kan je steeds bij Michalis terecht; op een antwoord of oplossing hoef je nooit lang te wachten. Fantastisch land, mensen, woning... wij komen graag nog een keer langs. Bedankt voor alles!.

Merveilleux !

Wonderful Villa Sunset

We ‘ve just spend one week in Villa Sunset and we enjoyed our holidays. The Sunset villa is really Nice to be quiet and have unforgetable holidays in Crete. You can go every where in a short time and after your visits you can relax in the swimming pool with fantastics views. And above all, if you need something you can ask to Michalis and you get it. Thank you very much Michalis. Patricia and her friends Piedad, Montse, Mònica and the 2 pets Fidji and Câline. Nous revenons juste de notre séjour dans cette magnifique villa. Nous avons vraiment beaucoup aimé le calme, la tranquillité après nos journées de visites. La maison est grande, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un agréable séjour. Un plus pour la piscine avec une vue spectaculaire. Et Michalis est une personne tout à fait charmante, et toujours disponible. Si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit, Michalis fait tout son possible pour l’obtenir. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir l’année prochaine. Un grand merci à Michalis.
