The host was very easy to contact. House was off the main highway and in a treed neighborhood where we often saw deer in the peaceful evening. Everything was comfortable and clean and well-furnished. We would definitely stay here again.

Dave's cabin was the perfect spot for our stay at Glacier National Park. It was very clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the washing machine was great to have after a few days of camping. The location was excellent for exploring the local area. The TV and wifi service was spotty, but we weren't there to enjoy those things anyways. It was well stocked with board games, which our daughter loved and we liked sitting on the back deck to relax. We'd definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting Glacier NP!

This was our second time staying at this cozy cabin 10 minutes away from the West Glacier entrance of Glacier National Park. It was clean, comfortable, and located in a beautiful forest. While the place needs a little TLC (slow draining bath tub, electric burners on the stovetop that don't heat up all the way, and not enough seating for more than 4 at the dining table or couches), it was still an enjoyable stay. The kitchen comes equipped with all of the basics, including a griddle. We cooked several meals while there. The neighborhood is very quiet and there is an occasional deer in the morning.

This little cabin was perfect for our needs. It is close to Glacier and it is a nice place to come back to to prepare meals. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great property to stay at for our visit to Glacier National Park. It is very close to West Glacier and the cabin feels very isolated because of the trees surrounding it, even though there are other homes nearby. It was very quiet, plenty of room for the four of us, and very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Glacier Cabin

Our family of 5 truly enjoyed our stay is the lovely cabin. It was very clean and probably the most stocked rental we have ever been in. The location was perfect, a short 10 minute drive to the entrance of Glacier National Park. The owner, Dave, was very responsive. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Dave Wicks originally purchased our amazing home away from home in 2011. The original owners kept a couple acres and built an adorable 900 sq ft cabin so that they could return any time they wanted...(it is hard to stay away!!) Luckily for us, they have decided to sell this, too. Now we own both. You can rent one or the other or both. It has plenty of trees in between for complete privacy.

Why they chose this property

The is the perfect get away cabin. It is very close to everything - Flathead Lake, Big Fork, Live Theater, Big Sky Waterslides, West Glacier, Lake McDonald, Hungry Horse Lake, Lions Head Lake, Lake Five, The Maze amusement center, Whitefish, hiking, white water rafting, horseback riding, helicopter rides...and more YET - it is located 1/2 mile off the main road in complete privacy.

What makes this property unique

We have a washer/dryer set in the bedroom, access to many different hiking trails and lakes, and privacy. We have had a grizzly, a black bear, loads of elk, deer, and hummingbirds. It just doesn't get any better than this!
