You'll love this warm, comfortable, & spacious house! It is nicely furnished and fully equipped to feel like your home away from home. There are 3 levels of living space and 3 living rooms, perfect for allowing larger groups to spread out. Relax in the private hot tub, take in the panoramic valley views, relax by one of the fireplaces, or take in a movie on the big screen TV. Heading to the slopes? Fit individuals can actually walk down to the "Stampede" trail. You can also take the free city bus to and from the slopes and throughout town. If you don't have a car, don't want to walk, or don't want to take the city bus, then don't worry - This large home is priced so that you can afford to call a cab as much as you like for private shuttle service, 24 hours a day. While the home is not brand new, it has a very welcoming nature, lots of beds, lots of space, and a great price compared to those brand new chalets that cost two or three times as much, and this is a convenient location too. Super!

The house is a great property. It has enough room to spread out, as well as spaces to have the whole family together. Deb was very easy to work with, quick to answer questions, and very accommodating. They also have many "extras" available for you to use to make your trip easier. There is a bus stop close to the house...but it is at the bottom of a hill....you cannot walk to it wearing ski boots and carrying ski equipment. This was not a huge deal...just know you will need to drive to the ski resort or have someone run a shuttle. Overall...it is a great property and Deb and Berry are great hosts!

Many other past guests have walked to and from the bus stop in ski boots. Some have even walked to and from the ski slopes. There are short cuts to both that this guest may have missed. Renting comes with free storage, and if you have your own equipment, paying to store equipment at the base is an option. This makes the walk and bus ride super easy. Driving and parking is of course an option but probably not the beat. This home is a great value and still very convenient!

Great place to stay in Steamboat Springs

We had the excitement of a bear on the back porch! The house was perfect for our family and the host was accommodating in every way. We would definitely recommend staying and we would like to return.

Steamboat experience

The property is in a good location with nice views. It is a large house with a large kitchen and accommodates a large group or multiple families. We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the house and the interior furnishings are showing their age.

This house has everything. Very clean and spacious, with some of the most amazing views of the town. Fantastic friendly owner as well. We certainly want to return.

Very happy with our stay. Close to the mountain but does require a short walk downhill to the bus stop. Communication was excellent. Very happy overall with the accuracy of the listing. Would definitely stay again.
