About this property

Peaceful LAKEVIEW Home with tons of outdoor space and privacy!

Awesome lakeview 2/2 tucked in the trees with tons of outdoor space to enjoy including fenced yard with outdoor pavilion, fire pit, grill, and multiple relaxation and dining spaces. Updated with a modern, farmhouse touch, the private master bed and bath are upstairs with a custom built king bed with a brand new “certified green” mattress and cozy cotton and linen bedding. The master also includes a daybed for a 5th sleeping area for a child or small adult, if needed. The secondary bed and bath are downstairs with hand crafted queen bed that also has a new “certified green” mattress and comfy bedding for a great nights sleep. The 6th person (small adult or child) can sleep on blow up mattress in any of the available floor space they choose or on the couch with added sofa cover and bedding.

We love the natural surroundings and have a great greenhouse where you can practice your green thumb or art skills to provide some fun and unique activities for all. We have yoga mats, Pilates bar, medicine ball and large balance balls in the carport should you prefer to start or end your day with some exercise or zen time. We also have Cornhole, Molkky and various other board and card games to try your skills at.

Our home is located a few blocks from the community boat ramp, 10 minutes from River Road and less than 15 to the “Horseshoe” and Whitewater Amphitheater, the location couldn’t be better. A few more miles to Historic Gruene, New Braunfels, San Antonio, San Marcus, Wimberly and Bourne and easy day trips to Fredricksburg, Johnson City or Austin. With an abundant variety of outdoor options between floating one of the rivers, boating or enjoying the nearby Comal Park swim beach and island or fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc, you can’t forget the many live music venues, amusement parks, museums, wineries and eclectic shopping options all within a short drive!

Our goal is for you to enjoy a vacation while also feeling “at home”! We are travel junkies so we have a ton of experience with what can really set your experience apart! We personally manage every aspect of our properties and your stay and are very nearby should you need anything during your visit.

The Lakeview Home was very clean and outdoor area was nice for relaxing. Yard is totally fenced so our fur baby could run and play. Look forward to visiting again!

We had an absolute lovely time at this property. Owner was extremely helpful with questions we had about the surrounding area. Super location and the best backyard

Talk about an amazing property, spacious backyard, fire pit and cabana with lights. Our dog loved to run wild and look after the wildlife. Such a cozy place, with a view of lake canyon from the top balcony! The location is fantastic- so close to the lake and gas station. Plenty of parking space. The host got back immediately with any questions and was very attentive for our stay. Would highly recommend!

Super Clean and Great Location

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids ages 9 and 12) loved our long weekend stay in Monica’s very clean, bright, and well appointed house! It has great outdoor spaces and our pup loved hanging out outside. We had nightly dinners on the upstairs deck and morning coffee in the gazebo. The house is less than a 5 minute drive from Comal Park and Public Boat Ramp 5 where we picked up kayaks and paddle boards. We would definitely recommend this home!

In touch with nature

We loved our stay at Canyon Lake. The home was the perfect size for us. It was beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. Our favorite part was how secluded it was. Deer strolled around the area, and a fox even walked up to the front porch when we sat there one evening. It was a wonderful experience. So relaxing.

We have had a second home at the lake for many years and can't imagine a better place to experience all we can with our kids and grandkids on the lakes, rivers and small towns within less than 30 minutes from our location. We now spend the majority of our time at the lake and enjoying hosting others and helping them to have the best vacations they possibly can by offering our knowledge, experience and additional services to plan, set up events, reservations, etc.. If you have a special request, please ask!

Why they chose this property

This property is so special and unique in it's privacy which is very hard to find around the lake! It feels as if you are truly tucked away in your own little forest though you are very close to everything. We live nearby and wanted to preserve all of the extra space around the home so it would not be sub-divided and built on.

What makes this property unique

PRIVACY and PROXIMITY to all of the hill country - lake, river, shopping, wine country, caverns, exotic animal farms, Schlitterbahn, San Antonio and all of the sites there. I could go on and on. It doesn't get better in Texas.
