Beds, fridge, kitchen we're clean. An older home. Small & in need of a lot of repairs. Some parts were not very clean. Needs updated & needs to b cleaned better for guests

We had a great vacation for 6 days close to every attraction to see. House could use some upgrades Extra lights in kitchen above stove and sink or change light fixture. Overall it was great would definitely stay here again

We are very to hear this. There was a statewide power outage due to a major hurricane and thunderstorm happened in the area a day before ypur arrival. We were given the wrong code for the door and it took awhile to get that corrected. Once we were in it was very cold and found that the batteries were missing for the thermostat display, so we couldn't adjust the heat. I went out and bought new batteries but still couldn't get the heat to work.

It is changed at 2.59 PM just before your checkin time and if you had informed us you would be trying to checking early we would have arranged for things. This is the cold season start and you were the first guest to start the furnace. We are glad that we could get it started As soon as you informed about it. Gald that everything else went well. Please stay with us when you come to the area. Youu were a great guest.

One element of the description of the property may be unintentionally misleading. It is listed on VRBO has having air conditioning. The house has one window unit air conditioner in the living room; there is no air conditioning for the bedrooms or the kitchen, which was a bit uncomfortable at times in the middle of summer. I include this in the review just so any future renters would not be confused as I was. That said, the host was very responsive and fixed any problems pointed out (leaking toilet) very quickly, which I appreciated. The property was also a pretty good value.

Thank you very much for the honest comment. Usually this window unit is big enough to cool tha whole house but we had a heat wave during the days you stayed. Nevertheless we are working on to add units to the bed rooms. Thank you very much for selecting and staying with us.
