This quaint cape home is perfectly located for you to enjoy everything Sandwich has to offer. It is within walking distance to 4 great restaurants including the newly opened Treehouse Brewery. Less than a 10 minute ride to all the tourists spots like the glass museum, Heritage gardens, Hoxie house, and the new Zipline & Aerial Adventure Park. Take a drive on route 6A to see the beautiful marshes and unique shops the Cape has to offer.
Plenty of beaches to choose from such as Town Neck, Sandy Neck, Scussett Beach and Barnstable beaches are nearby. All of the rooms are tastefully decorated. You will be pleasantly surprised when you arrive.

Nice Cape Cod house!

Darling little Cape Cod home! Very clean. Nice backyard and balcony area for just relaxing. Perfect location for tourists like us. Highly recommend!

Great vacation home

My family had a very nice time and stay in Sandwich. The house fit our needs and was walking distance from the beach. Also have great restaurants and ice cream near by.

Cozy beach getaway

Our family had a great stay. Home had everything we needed and was very clean. Beaches within a 10min nice walk. The beach wagon and float tubes were excellent to have available. Really a great location in between being able to walk to the beach, the canal, Treehouse Brewing, shops and restaurants.

Perfect

We absolutely fell in love with this home, the neighborhood and Sandwich. It was our first time in the Cape and we hope to make it an annual trip. The house was perfect from the coastal inspired interior to the large fenced in backyard with fire pit. It truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you for allowing us to rent this special place!

Cute little cottage

Great little cottage , had what we needed, great neighborhood, clean , friendly. Location, location , location. 5–10 minutes walk to the beach. Good restaurants, check out Off the Grid and Beth’s Bakery. After Labor Day is great time to come. We even survived the effects of hurricane Lee

Just lovely

Wonderful home in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. Walk to the beach to see the waves, stroll the neighborhood or visit all the shops and restaurants Sandwich has to offer. The home is very clean, cozy and has all that you need! The bedroom downstairs is great since I can’t climb stairs. Come and enjoy this property!

fantastic!!!

This property was amazing! We had no issues with anything. Check in was smooth, neighborhood was gorgeous and very quiet, plenty of parking, back yard was peaceful and very well maintained. The beach was gorgeous and just a couple of blocks away. We will definitely be back!!! 5 stars all around!!!

Great property!

This was our second visit and we had an overall great trip and stay. There was an issue with check in where keys had not been placed in the box. However, Arlene was very communicative and quickly resolved the problem for us. Overall happy with the amenities and cleanliness of the property.

Another great summer visit!

Our family of 4 adults (plus a weekend visitor friend ) had plenty of room in this lovely traditional Cape Cod style home. The informative booklets and magazines provided by our kind host gave us so many great ideas for new experiences during our repeat stay ! We did not take advantage of the beach supplies this year as we focused more on biking and boat excursions , but welcomed the return to wonderfully cool air conditioning at the days end during what was one of the hottest weeks this summer! The deck was a favorite spot for having our morning coffee while enjoying the songbirds and the fenced backyard offered privacy . Our thanks to Arlene for sharing her home and always being available for questions . Looking forward to more Cape fun next year!

Great location but some issues

First night - turned down the covers to put my daughter to bed and there was debris and 4 blood stains on the fitted sheet in the pillow area. There is no way anybody could've made that bed and not seen those blood stains. They had to be new stains because they were soaked through to the mattress pad. So that leads me to believe the sheets were not changed on that twin bed between guests. I brought it to the Manager's attention and got an offer for them to come change the sheets for us. (We had already done that so my daughter would be willing to get in the bed.) Never got an apology. The response did not match the problem. We also had some issues with towels. No towels were in the upstairs bathroom. We were provided only 4 washcloths total. We were staying a week and there were 4 of us. When I asked about this, there was some back and forth asking me what washcloths were. 2 days later, we got a delivery of towels in a Big Lots bag - had an odor. There was confusing info about the trash day. Got a message from the Manager to put out the trash on one night yet the instructions (sign) in the kitchen said trash day was later that week. Tried to clarify - never figured it out - just followed the instructions in the house. Randomly got a message 2 days later that the Manager was sending over her son to take care of the trash but that never happened. (Seemed like the Manager was getting confused about different properties perhaps.) The kitchen, bathrooms, hard floors were all very clean. But, the carpets upstairs are wrinkled and heavily stained. Lots of the sheets and towels are stained. The upstairs bathroom does not have an outlet and has the only mirror upstairs so we mostly used the downstairs bathroom. There was no hand soap in the upstairs bathroom. Each bedroom has a wall thermostat (w/ a bright LED light) and they kept randomly turning on and off all night waking us up so we had to cover them up. The house is cute and in an absolutely lovely neighborhood that we felt safe in. Very close to the beach. The backyard has a nice garden and deck. The house is about 50% updated. We appreciated the beach gear available in the shed. I've stayed in 10+ vacation rentals across the country so I've seen a lot of variety. I've never had to contact a Manager this much. I was not impressed with the service and I don't know how this property has 5-stars.

Beau séjour

we loved our stay, the place was clean and welcoming. On the other hand, the mattresses could be a little more comfortable. The negative point was the BBQ which was really very dirty, the container was full of oil which is very dangerous if a spark got into it. It took us an hour to scrub the grates and get it into satisfactory and safe condition.
